Same issue
We put this showerhead in as part of a renovation last fall. In about 6 months we noticed water leaking over the edge from above. We tried all kinds of things including making sure it was level and cleaning. Now I see that others have had the same problems and worse. We also had the problem of the jets skewing off in odd directions. I'd like to get some help with this. Delta support was very helpful when we picked out the dual controls which are working great. But this showerhead just isn't right.

Great style, poor design
This shower head is beautiful, but leaks from the back, just like many others have mentioned. I am very disappointed, as it was supposed to be part of the shower remodel design. It is unusable :(

Third times not a charm!
We had our bathroom remodeled and saw this shower head in the showroom when choosing fixtures. Within a short time we noticed leakage coming from the top. Contractor has replaced the original with two new units. Both have developed the same problem. The last one in about a months time. We paid for a quality product and it is far from quality. The contractor is going to reimburse us for the shower head and install a new one of our choice. Needless to say it will not be Delta.

Water is spraying everywhere....
Not to sound like a broken record, but I too am having the same issues as others are reporting - after just a few months of use, water is spraying everywhere - not just from the holes in the shower head, but from the seam on top of the shower head. We have only had the shower heads (we have 2 in our shower- one on the wall and one on the ceiling) since November 2015. Any assistance in getting the situation rectified would be appreciated. I

leaking showerheads....
I have been in my home since 3/31/2016. I have 2 of these heads in my shower. Within 3 weeks they both started leaking from the seal. My home builder's plumber ordered me 2 more. I installed those 6 weeks ago and now they are both leaking again. On a plus side it did go double the amount of time than the first set, but this is ridiculous. I have had more shower heads in my shower than mortgage payments made on my home.... something just isn't right there.

Top Seal Leaks

Same Problem as others (water spouting from top of head)
I installed this Delta shower package a little less than a year ago and since April 2016, I have had the same problem as others have mentioned. Seam on the top of the shower head has failed and causing water to spray everywhere.
I called Delta today and their customer service was great. They acknowledged the problem and they are quickly sending a replacement head free of charge.
For me, I REALLY appreciate their responsiveness and desire to help customers when there is a problem. Of course, I was disappointed with the product, but their customer service was quite good and I will continue to use Delta products based on their response.

MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING PROBLEM
WE ARE ABOUT TO REPLACE A SECOND ONE OF THIS SHOWER HEAD. SAME PROBLEM WITH BOTH OF LEAKING WATER FROM A SEAM IN THE TOP CAUSING WATER TO COME OVER THE TOP INSTEAD OF THROUGH THE NOZZLES. WILL BUY ANOTHER BRAND OR TYPE THIS TIME. LOVE THE PRODUCT WHEN IT WAS WORKING BUT ONLY LASTS A FEW MONTHS AS NOTED BY MANY REVIEWS ON THIS WEBSITE.

Leaks Like all the rest
Started with a dribble out the top perimeter/outside edge immediately after installation about 4 months ago. This dribble became a spray that just reached the level of spraying up and clear out of the shower, making it completely unusable. That being said, I have 3 Delta body sprays, a H2O handheld, Vero main valve and diverter trim and delta body & diverter valves that all work great, BUT stay away from this shower head. I have left an email with Delta to see if they can or will remedy this and will update with positive results.

Design Flaw Causing Leak?
Noticed the other reviews regarding leaking from the top. Our new shower has a similar problem. The ports at top are allowing water to spray upward. If new replacement head doesn't work, we'll have to switch to a different design. Nice clean lines aren't worth much if the shower head leaks.

Poor design
The head is 2 parts with the seam on top held together with screws. The head leaks from the screws and the seam on top. Water shoots out everywhere. This is just a poor design. Either make it a one piece or place the seam on the bottom so that the water leaks down instead of shooting up to the ceiling. I've been through 2 of these and both had the same issue. Buying a different brand now.

I have gone through 3 of these shower heads and each one of them have leaked from the screws in the top within 30 days or less. Beautiful product, but absolutely garbage as far as functionality.

This product has poor design features!
Two heads installed in a new master shower, Nov. 2014. Within 5 months, the first head starting to spray water from the top join, around the parameter of the head. Delta provided a replacement of the same head.
The second of the new install started spraying after 14 months in the same manner as the first, At the top around the parameter of the head. Delta is providing another replacement.
Will I continue to have to face this same problem again in the near future and have to order a same product replacement, make no sense.
I see there is additional complaints with the same fault!

I love the look but performance wasn't there
I experienced the same failure as the other reviewer here. I have a dual fixture shower and this head was used perhaps 4 times since installed (~30 days ago). The top seam ruptured and water blasts out the top with any reasonable water pressure. We are trying a replacement head as first course of action (replacing through point of purchase - Consolidated Fixtures, Tigard, OR). If it fails again, i will expect Delta to provide me with a product that functions as advertised.

For the price, it can't be beat. What you won't get is the heavy down pour that you get with the original round rain heads. But, for the price, I'm very happy.

Is the RP62955 made in the USA? I could not find it on the Delta Buy American Act compliant product list.

What is the minimum height of the shower head and down rod from the ceiling? We have a 7ft ceiling height.

We purchased this, and before finishing construction wonder if this works ok when used with an angled shower arm (e.g. RP6023). What i mean is, does the head move (while sitting on our workbench i cannot move the shower head around

I am concerned this shower head will not provide enough pressure to rinse out shampoo for female's head of hair. Please advise. The majority of rain heads do not; is this one different?
