What are my options to change the 12” spout on a T5776-SSWL to a 7””

Unfortunately the 12" spout is the only tub spout option for the T5776-SSWL, the RP64722SS will not fit.

how long does the pipe need to be for this to fit? This is a 7" spout and I have a 4" pipe. Can I still install this? thanks!

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model RP64722SS tub spout. I apologize for any difficulty finding the installation instructions. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help!
The instructions may be located on the packaging for the tub spout. The RP64722SS tub spout can slide onto 1/2" copper pipe, or with the adapter removed thread onto 1/2" threaded pipe. The recommended pipe length from the finished wall to the end of the threads is 3-7/8" to 4".

What is the difference between the RP 62149 and the RP 64722

How do you remove the adapter so it can be screwed on to pipe

Will this work to replace a chrome downspout that has the copper sweat connection on the pipe? I also need one with a diverter

The RP64722OB is a slip on connection, If your looking for a copper connection I would advise to use RP61357OB.

What is the recommended length of 1/2" copper from finished wall, for a slip fit connection ?

When installing a slip-on tub spout, the tubing should be cut 1 1/2 -- 2 3/4 from the finished wall.
