Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Showerhead Modern appearance. Good water flow. Showerhead is quite messy as over spray covers large area in shower

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak pressure Disappointed with this shower head. It is small in size and although the water droplets are larger it does not outweigh the fact that the pressure is weak. It’s been 2 months and time to change out this shower head

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shower set with hand wand also I had my master bathroom redone about 1 year ago. The shower set had been good for the valves and the hand wand. The shower head itself has had a lack of pressure since day 1. The shower head has gotten weaker over the last year. The hand wand has great pressure. The rest of my bathroom and house have great pressure. It has to be this shower head. I would recommend to with a different head.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply made Very cheaply made. Not metal but plastic. Spend your money on a different head.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just not enough pressure :( I just moved into an apartment with this shower head, and I immediately had to figure out what was wrong with it. It simply doesn't have enough pressure to provide a good shower. It feels like a light rain shower, where it takes far too long to get the soap off. I'm already looking into replacing this head with something else so I can get a decent shower experience in my new home.

Q&A

Does this shower head rotate and pivot or is it stationary

Asked by: jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question! This shower head uses a standard ball joint at the connection to the shower arm. You should be able to pivot the shower head up to 45 degrees in any direction. Best Regards, Daniel

Does this shower head require a compensating valve to function properly?

My shower currently uses a Kohler system with a mixing valve. The system does not have a compensating valve, however, your specification sheet says this head is for use with an automatic compensating valve rated at 6.90L/Min or less. Thus, I'm wondering if this head will even work correctly with my existing system.
Asked by: Ron P
Hi RonP, Thank you for your question. Your Kohler valve should be able to compensate for the RP70171SS showerhead which flows at 2.0 gallons per minute. You can verify your valve's performance with Kohler. Thanks, Dave

How does the water stream of the Dryden (RP70171SS) H2Okinetic Single-Setting Raincan compare to the Cassidy (T17497) Monitor 17 Series H2Okinetic showerhead?

Asked by: Sharon
Hi, Sharon! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP70171SS and the Delta RP70172SS that is included with the Delta Monitor T17497 Tub and Shower Faucet both have the exact same flow rate and the Delta H2Okinetic Technology® Spray. The only difference is the style and shape of the shower head. Here is a link to the technical specifications sheet to show both units: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/dsp-b-rp70172_F.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

Is this showerhead LEED certified?

The flow rate of LEED certified showerheads should be 1.75 gpm or lower at 80 psi. But, I see some showerheads on the Internet which flow rate are 2.0 gpm, but, they are labeled as LEED certified......
Asked by: William
Thank you for your question. The LEED program does not certify specific products. It takes a whole house or business approach to certification.
