No frills shower head gets the job done
Bought simple, no bells and whistles shower head to replace hand held shower head in vacation home. We had already replaced the second bathroom shower head with this model with good results. All I wanted was to get the shampoo out of my hair—-there is a rain forest shower head also. Thrilled to find this bronze finish is still available.

How do I remove the water restrictor?
Thank you for your question, Db186! The water restrictor is not a part that can be removed. Doing so will allow debris into the shower head which will void the warranty and could damage the unit. Instead we recommend purchasing a shower head with a higher flow rate. Below is a link to models rated at 2.50 gpm.

Can I order another water restrictor?
Thank you for your question, Neubie! The water restrictor is not a part that should not be removed and thus is not available for order separately. Unfortunately a new shower head will need to be purchased.

I have the Silverton RP72856RB showerhead. Can you confirm what products can be used to clean the screen of the showerhead and the subsequent build of the minerals? Is Bleach or Vinegar too harsh?

Bleach is not recommended. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe dry.
If additional cleaning is required, use well-diluted dish soap as you would with your glassware. Additionally, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Bar Keepers Friend Foaming is an effective cleaner of mineral spots.
