so if I buy the T13020 chrome trim kit to replace polished brass, does it come with a replacement cartridge or do I have to buy it separate? Do not want to replace the valve itself just the trim on it and the cartridge

Asked by: DON1
Hi, DON1! Thank you for you question. The T13020 Delta trim kit includes the gray RP46074 valve cartridge assembly. If you have the same gray RP46074 in your existing valve, you can either use your existing cartridge or replace with the new one that comes with the new trim kit. If you installed your faucet before 2006 and have a white, RP19804, valve cartridge, you can still use the T13020 unit, but you will have to either use your existing RP19804 valve cartridge assembly or purchase a new replacement RP19804, if yours is having any issues. Here is a link to this cartridge assembly: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP19804 If you do no have either unit, but you still want to use the T13020, you will want to replace the whole valve body to the Delta MultiChoice R10000 rough valve. Best Regards, Rosanna

What single handle valve cartridge do I use with a R10000-UNBXHF rough in valve?

Asked by: bacole
bacole, Thank you for your question! The cartridge will depend on the trim series that you install. Please note that the trim kit will included the needed cartridge. Here are the cartridges for each series: 13/14 - RP46074 (or RP74236) 17 - RP46463 17T - RP47201 Best regards, Jon

Shower lever stops

I had a new shower installed about 5 years ago and the box I was left with says it is in the Monitor 1400 series so I believe it would take this cartridge (RP74236). My problem is that the handle has (suddenly) stopped turning all the way over to the "cold end" and now has a hard stop at about 1/3 of the way (a bit hot). Do I need to replace the whole cartridge or is this likely to be something else? If so, what part number?
Asked by: Jane
Dear Jane, Thank you for your question. It sounds like the Rotational Limit Stop needs to be adjusted on your cartridge. I have included the link to our how-to video on adjusting this. https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I Best regards, Tanya

Which components are ceramic?

The RP4993 of other valves are rubber. Is this part ceramic in this valve? Thanks, Dan
Asked by: Dan
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. The plate and seats are ceramic. The RP46074 has a metal plate and rubber seats (RP4993). Best regards, Jon

Can we order just the white "lower half" of this valve? Do not need the whole thing.

Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question, Dave. Unfortunately, the lower half is not available separately. Best regards, Jon

how does the 13/14 tub unit turn water on and off

does the handle push in and out to turn the water on and off or does the handle just turn to the left to turn the water on and off
Asked by: Doug
Hi Doug, Thank you for your question! On a 13/14 series tub/shower the handle rotates counter clockwise to go from on to off. Best regards, Brandis

What is the Gallons per minute rating of the cartridge

I need to know the GPM flow through this if it is in a R10000 rough in. I am wanting to use this as a temperature control that feeds into a 6 function valve that will allow me to have multiple heads active.
Asked by: MikeFromAiken
Hi MikeFromAiken, Thank you for your question. The 13/14 series cartridge will allow up to about 5.8 gallons per minute from the shower port of an R10000-UNBX valve at 60 PSI. With the R10000-UNBXHF you can get about 6.3 gpm from the shower port. Best regards, Jon

how do I get more hot water from this valve. It is warm but never warm enough.

We just bought a house with the delta 13/14 multi choice valve in the tub/shower faucet. The shower is never more than warm. The video only showed cleaning the water line. How do I trouble shoot? How do I clean the cartridge?
Asked by: Ken
Hi Ken, Thank you for your question. You can adjust the Rotational Limit Stop to allow the handle to turn to a hotter setting. For help adjusting the RLS, please see our How-To Video: http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat= Best regards, Jon
