Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low quality for the price Cheap plastic, did not seal properly after a couple of months, after a year the diverter broke. It looks pretty but it is cheaply made with poor quality materials. It would be one thing if it was $20 but it’s more like $80.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous solid piece! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this part very much for its design, but the way the water flows out of it is a bit odd. Be sure to put your fingers up in side it to see how it flows. We do like the design very much!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap plastic Product looks nice BUT diverter never worked - always had water coming out tub faucet and shower head. Today, the plastic diverter pull totally broke off. Despite the warranty replacement, I have to pay a plumber to replace a faucet that has seen very little use. AND, I have little expectation that the replacement will be any better or last any longer. Beware of purchasing products that say non-metallic - that just means plastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I love the look of this spout, but the diverter in this is made poorly. I had this for about 5 years had to replace it with the same one. I've had the new one for a month now and the spout squeals and doesn't seal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Fixture I have installed the Ara tub spout in our newly remodled bathroom. This spout is beautiful and sticks just the right amount

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's plastic I can't recommend a plastic tub spout, especially for this price. It's also very large and cartoonish and would be best suited for a very large tub. But if you could afford to buy a large tub, I assume you would have a nicer tub spout than this one. It is doing the job. But be aware that if you have a separate diverter, you should buy a tub spout without the pull-up diverter.

Diverter seems to be malfunctioning and water is leaking. Do you have parts for repair?

Does this fit over a RP12307 adapter?

Asked by: Nocos

There are no installation instructions on the websie for this tub spout RP75435./ I am looking for a matte black tub spout that has a slide adaptor connection vs. the threaded iron pipe. Can someone confirm how this spout is installed?

Asked by: Scott
Hello Scott, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet ARA® Tub Spout - Pull-Up Diverter MODEL#: RP75435BL is designed to fit a sweat on 1/2" C.W.T. and thread onto 1/2" IPS using the RP12307 adapter. Below are the installation instructions for the RP75453 tub spout: Install a 1/2" threaded pipe nipple to extend beyond the finished wall 3/8" to 1/2". Apply plumber tape to thread on pipe nipple and screw brass adapter (1) securely onto the nipple. Check the position of the set screw on the bottom of the spout (2) making sure it is not sticking through to the inside opening where it could interfere with the assembly. Slide flange (3) carefully onto spout (4) keeping it near the back of the spout. Slide tub spout over the adapter. Push flange against the wall and tighten set screw on the bottom of spout against the adapter. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
