is the diverter supposed to be loose and sloppy…sometimes it doesn’t sit in the seat.. sometimes it drops down when the water gets shut off sometimes not… can it be adjusted?

Hi Steve, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, RP78735! I have included the installation instructions below. The tub spout should be tight on the adapter, and the water pressure is what allows the proper usage of the diverter. Hi,  Tub spout model RP78735 , leaks between the wall and spout. I tried replacing the o-ring on the adapter.  # 17 o-ring is too small and #18 too large. What is the proper size o-ring. Thank you.

I have installed Tesla model 78735 tub spout. I’m experiencing an issue with water leaking from my Tesla shower head when turning on the water. The diverter pull up is setting flush with the tub spout. Please advise.

Can the pull-up diverter be replaced or fixed if it no longer stays up to allow all faucet water to come out of the shower head?  It is not even one year old.
