can it be installed on copper, iron, or both? does it have an adapter? basically, just need info on what it requires to be installed properly

Asked by: lecterofbecter
Hi, Lecterofbecter! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP90158 tub spout assembly can be installed by sweating onto a 1/2" C.W.T or threads onto 1/2" IPS. The RP12307 adapter assembly is included. Best Regards, Rosanna

How far does the nipple for rough plump have to extend?  Your previous answer to Layth can not be correct as the threads don’t even start till 3/8 past edge.

Asked by: Steve
Not true.  The treading on the spout does not start until 3/8 in. inset from the base.  Also 3/8-1/2 in. would mean it only has 1/8 in to thread which would never give a seal.

what kind of stub out does this require? How far out from the finished wall, thread size, copper or galvanized? Thanks, Tom

Asked by: Layth
Hi, Layth! Thank you for your question. The RP90158 Pull Up diverter tub spout - threads on to 1/2"-14 NPT nipple extending 3/8"-1/2" from finished wall. Best Regards, Rosanna
