Looking for a Wall Mount Non-Diverter Tub Spout w/Single Handle (to turn water on/off, cold/hot) & Valve to go with (NO shower). Found Pivotal RP90159SS Tub Spout & T14099-SS Valve Trim. What Valve would we need & what is the GPM? Thanx!!!

Thank you for your question. The Delta Pivotal Tub spout RP90159SS and Valve Trim T14099-SS can be installed together with the MultiChoice Universal Rough-In Valve R10000-UNBX. You would need to remember to cap off the top port, if you are not installing a shower head. The tub spout should produce approximately 4.8-9.8 GPM depending on valve used and the PSI in your home.

What kind of pipe & installation method is used for the RP90159 tub spout? How far should pipe extend out from finished wall?
I have one on order for bathroom remodel & don't want to wait for spout to arrive to finish plumbing and tub surround.
The answer provided is incorrect. The spout comes with a pre-installed fitting, 1/2" thread only. You cannot sweat copper pipe on it, and there is no removable adapter. You have to find a correctly sized brass nipple, or thread the spout on a copper pipe with a male thread adapter, and make a snug connection. Be careful not to damage the tiles as you tighten the spout. Not an ideal way to secure such a large spout, in my opinion.

Can I install this spout and then have the diverter for the spout to the shower head be located on the shower trim?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we no longer make valve trim with push button diverters built into the trim kit to divert water from tub to shower.

It say 9" from wall to end of soput. What is the length from wall to center of water fall ?

With a closed end nipple 1" long it extends almost flush to the wall or a little beyond. Does this value have the flexibility so the trim plate will push flush to the wall when the nipple extends to the wall or a little beyond?

Thank you for your question. This tub spout can fit on a 1/2" threaded pipe that extends 5/8" to 1 5/8" from the finished wall or it can be sweat onto a 1/2" copper pipe that extends 2" to 4".
