Very steampunk. Love this spout. The diverter is different. Note that one pushes down instead of pulling up to divert from tub to shower. The diverter falls and returns water flow to the spout when the water is turned off.

Diverter leaks
First diverter leaked and Build.com was great in sending a replacement. Paid for plumber to come back to install the second one, but unfortunately this started to leak after a couple of days. Now need to purchase a new diverter and pay for a plumber a third time.

Bad design
I’ve tried 2 of these and both start leaking water out of the spout when using diverter to shower. Must have a bad design internally. This is the third delta tub spout I’ve now had to replace. Do not buy this.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP93273SS Tub Spout Assembly includes the RP100154 tri-universal adapter for thread 1/2" IPS, sweat 1/2" C.W.t or slip onto 1/2" C.W.T.

How long is this spout?

On the underside by the wall there is a small opening. When using the diverter to shower, water is pouring out the hole. What does this indicate that needs to be fixed? I need to communicate the issue to my plumber.

It can be caused by damage to the o-rings in the spout. The tub spout may need to be replaced. I first recommend unscrewing the spout from the adapter. Check that the large o-ring on the adapter is present and undamaged.
