Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Function of Diverter We selected this model to be installed in one of the bathrooms in our new home (moved in April 2023). As other reviews have noted it can be difficult to use and water seems to be split when coming out of the spout. Currently looking into another model that will look good with the rest of the Stryke package in the bathroom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diverter Hard to Use and Leaks Installed the spout included in T17476-SS. Diverter is very sticky, hard to pull up and need to force down after the shower is turned off. Even when engaged, the spout leaks a substantial amount of water out of the spout.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diverter does not divert Another diverter issue. Spout was installed this past spring and only used a few times and now the diverter is not working. Up or down the water flow is 50/50 between spout and shower head. I would think by now that to design a diverter would be a simple task but I guess not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Diverter Although I liked the look of the diverter on this tub spout, it doesn’t function properly. It is very difficult to pull up to engage the shower. Once the water is off, it stays stuck in the up position. It requires some serious effort to push the diverter back down. It seems like it needs some lubrication. So I tried plumbers grease, but it just washed away. Very disappointed in this purchase. Do not buy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Diverter feels flimsy I liked the idea of not having a knob diverter, and this design looked very sleek. However, what the other reviewers are saying is true: the diverter is flimsy, you feel like you're going to break it, and water does not effortlessly divert. The only jerry-rig solution I have found was to turn off the water, hold the diverter up to divert to the shower, and then turn on the water again to avoid the extra pressure and water spraying all over. Same thing to divert back to tub spout. Kind of frustrating to have to do this trick for a new faucet. We may replace...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design Terrible design. Try another model. The diverter is difficult to pull up and you need to jiggle it to fully engage it. I put this in two bathrooms and they are both difficult so it is the design rather than a defective one. We will be replacing them

Q&A

Was wondering if there is an extension part to lengthen the spout, I am at least a 1/2 inch short and water drips over side of tub. I need a spout that has a diverter if only this had been a 9 in. Any recommendations?

Asked by: AnnH
Thank you for your review, AnnH! Unfortunately, we do not have a extension kit to make the tub spout longer extend further.

What is the little 'door' on the top of the faucet for?

Asked by: 972w
Hi, 972w! Thank you for your question. The part on top of the Delta RP93376 tub spout assembly is the diverter. Once the diverter is pulled up, the water will divert from the tub spout to the shower head. Best Regards, Rosanna

After using the shower head, and turning off the water, the diverter does not return to the tub filler position and has to be pushed back into place. How can I resolve this issue?

Asked by: TCB10
Hi TCB10, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet diverter tub spout. Using 50/50 white vinegar and water to soak the area can help remove buildup causing it to stick. If the issue remains, the tub spout may need to be replaced. Unfortunately, we don't carry replacement parts for the tub spout diverter. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

When filling the tub the water comes out in a thin horseshoe shaped pattern. It takes a really long time to fill the tub. Water preasure is good. How can i increase flow rate?

Asked by: Fw190
Hello Fw190, Thank you for your question! I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing reduced flow from your Delta Faucet Stryke® Diverter Tub Spout In Champagne Bronze MODEL#: RP93376CZ! We would be happy to help. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not work try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

The diverter works very hard. It is extremely hard to lift. Is there a way to improve this situation without busting the faucet or installation? Reference case #11022730

Asked by: Martha
Hello Martha, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the inconveniences you are experiencing and will be happy to help you. We recommend wrapping a bag or towel mixed with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water around the Delta STRYKE Diverter Tub Spout. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to the build-up of mineral deposits. This can cause your diverter to be stiff. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley
