Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok spout. Good quality spout. Needed a spout for an older whirlpool that was 10 inches long. Very hard to find. Problem is it leakes from the back of the spout while running water to fill the whirlpool. Tried many options to have it not leaking but nothing works. My husband is a pipe fitter and knows how to install things like this. Need a better design inside the spout to stop this issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bigger than I expected! It's big! I must not have read the dimensions of this item when I ordered it and I was shocked when I opened it. It's very long but it has not interfered with our legs when we shower. We decided to keep it as there aren't many options from Delta for tub spout without a diverter. The style matches our other fixtures and looks great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but problems. I bought this specialty tub faucet and its been nothing but problems. The first one had a defect, so the water came out funny. Then the install directions left us with a 1/4" gap between the wall and the back of the spout. I called Delta and was sent a flange, which was way too small. This was an expensive product. One would think it would install and perform like butter. Not so. Giving this product one star due to the cost, the unattractive water marks on the finish and the frustrating install discrepancies. ughhhh

I have Model: T5759-CZWL but the spout is way to long for my tub. Could I use this one with my current Delta wall mount tub valve? If yes, would I need an adaptor?

Sweating the brass adapter on copper pipe. How far off the finished wall should the threads be to ensure the spout will tighten down and seal will bottom out to prevent leaks?

Thank you for your question KB592! The Delta RP93377 can be sweated on to a 1/2" inch copper pipe. You would need to start by removing the o ring from the brass adapter. Next slide the adapter on to the copper tube, with the threaded portion facing the back, and the o ring groove facing the front. The spec sheet for RP93377 says "Tub spout uses 1/2"-14 NPT with 3/8" stub out." The threads on the adapter start 5/8" from the adapter face. How do I screw the spout onto my 3/8" stub out?

This means you can solder, thread to copper or iron galvanized pipe, or you can slip it on a straight 1/2" inch copper tube and tighten the set screw. The Stryke wall mount tub filler (T5776-WL) is too long for my tub. Can the RP93377SS non-diverting spout be installed as a tub-only filler (2-handle hot/cold preferred, but single handle OK)? If so, what rough-in is needed?

Our Delta Faucet Stryke® Non-Diverter Tub Spout In Stainless MODEL#: RP93377SS is manufactured to be sweated on to a 1/2" inch copper pipe. I have an FIP nipple on a 1/2 copper pipe… can’t seem to thread this onto that nipple… is this non compatible with a MODEL#: RP93377BL tub spout?

The tub spout has an adapter that has a set screw. The adapter slides onto the 1/2" copper. The set screw is missing. I want to know the thread size of the set screw.

Where the water comes out there is plastic inlay of sorts with two screws. The function seems to be to widen the water flow as it exits the spout.  Is there a way to remove that piece so the water flows out without a wider spray? Or is it adjustable?
