PRODUCT FEATURES
Create a truly custom shower with this HydraChoice® 1-Spray Body Spray. Spray heads extend out of the wall when the water is turned on. Users can simply press the spray heads back into position when they are finished showering. Spray heads are easy and affordable to swap out, offering choice and differentiation in spray pattern and pressure before and after installation. By simply removing a set screw, you can transform your shower experience from a soothing to massaging or invigorating spray option. A 1/2 in. rough-in allows the body spray trim and spray head installation to occur after the rough-in stage is complete and the wall surface has been finished. Adjust the spray 50° in any direction to help you aim the water where you want it. Choose between a round or square trim option (sold separately) and 4, interchangeable spray heads (sold separately) with H2Okinetic® Technology or Touch Clean® spray holes. Available spray options are Invigorating, Soothing, Massaging and Full Spray.

Delta Quality!

Body Sprayers- A nice update and work well
I had a previous Delta body wash sprayer that was installed in 2018. It started to develop problems related to mineral deposits in our water (about 110 grains). I consider our water to be moderately hard, typical of many cities. This greatly reduced the water flow. I worked with Delta and after troubleshooting with them and trying the suggestions they gave me they sent me this model of sprayer since the model that I had was discontinued and there was no appreciable change to the sprayer force. It is a completely different design that appears to be able to handle the minerals in our water much better. All that has been needed so far is just rubbing my thumb across the little rubber nubs and the minerals come off easily.
The rest of my shower components already have this style of spray head that is easily cleaned and they have worked exceptionally well for several years. While this took time to install (and uninstall the previous sprayer) it has been worth the time. I also noticed that the range of swivel motion is excellent, perhaps 30 degrees or slightly more, so it can accommodate a tall or short person much better than before. When finished I just push the heads back in to the recessed holder (they pop out on their own) with my index finger (or I could leave it out, does not really matter). I understand that there are 4 different head styles available and while I do not have the other spray patterns it looks like swapping them out should only take about 2 minutes (if your slow).
In working with the service team I will say that Delta stands behind their products, which I have not experienced with other companies to this degree. While it took a few calls to get things correct they were nice and helpful each time. If purchasing a product from a company I think it is important (or perhaps the most important) to consider the support and parts availability. Delta excels at both.
I am currently working to upgrade another bathroom that is many years long overdue. For the reasons listed above I am going with Delta products (and having one vendor for all the faucets in my house makes support down the road easier as well).

Does the Hydrochoice body spray have a flow restrictor? And how can I remove it? For a body spray I don’t get enough pressure.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet body spray model SH5000-PR.
Body spray trims T50010 and T50210 have a maximum flow rate of 1.0 gpm for each body spray. Flow restrictor devices are not designed to be removed.

Once you are done showering and have the desired angle of the sprayer, do you have to push the sprayer back in? Or can it be left extruded out at the same angle for each time you get in the shower?

The SH5000-PR will be manually pressed back into the trim to dock it, as they automatically eject from the trim when the water is diverted to the body sprays. However, you do not have to push the body jet back into the body after use.

Do the body sprayers “self drain” after use? I’m installing the sprayers on an external wall in a cold weather location and I’m concerned about freezing.

Whats the gpm for the SH5000
I want 2 shower heads and one rain shower head and one handheld & 6 body jets & matching roman tub w/handheld & 2 bathroom sink faucets in champagne bronze. Please let me know if i can get all of these to work together?

Each body spray has a flow rate of 1 GPM, so to run six body sprays, you would need water pressure and a valve for 6 GPM and would have difficulty running a showerhead or hand shower at the same time. I would recommend a second valve for the body sprays if you will want to run them at the same time as a showerhead.
We carry 6-function diverter trim kits that can be used for three shower features, such as two showerheads and a rain head.
