PRODUCT FEATURES
Create a truly custom shower with this HydraChoice 1-Spray Massaging Body Spray in Venetian Bronze with H2Okinetic Technology. Spray heads extend out of the wall when the water is turned on. Users can simply press the spray heads back into position when they are finished showering. Spray heads are easy and affordable to swap out, offering choice and differentiation in spray pattern and pressure before and after installation. By simply removing a set screw, you can transform your shower experience from a soothing to massaging or invigorating spray option. A ½ in. rough-in allows the body spray trim and spray head installation to occur after the rough-in stage is complete and the wall surface has been finished. The oscillating pattern of the water prevents the build-up of mineral deposits, making H2Okinetic spray holes self-cleaning. Adjust the spray 50 degrees in any direction to help you aim the water where you want it. Choose between a round or square trim option (sold separately) and four, interchangeable spray heads (sold separately) with H2Okinetic Technology or Touch Clean spray holes. Available spray options are Invigorating, Soothing, Massaging and Full Spray.
 • Automatically extends when water is turned on
 • H2Okinetic increases the water's velocity to enhance spray performance and maintain temperature

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No substantial difference between the nozzle types Not a remarkable amount of difference from the other regular spray nozzle. The attempt to minimize water usage comes at the expense of effectiveness. We already had 4 of the regular spray nozzles and thought we would substitute 2of them for the massage sprayers, wasted money in our opinion. There's a difference between them, but not enough to warrant having changed two of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta vs Brizo Although they look identical, the Brizo version has a 1.5gpm flow vs Delta 1gpm. Interchangeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spa like Really feels like a spa. We bought 2. You can articulate the heads to adjust in all directions. Heads come out when water is turned on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed!! Agree with review already posted. Except, I doubt it would work well even on a paper product. Adequate water flow; but NO massage action at all. Just a stream of water. Looks great. But, where is the beef?? My last two homes were entirely Delta. Now, I am not so sure that loyalty will folllow to the next home.

What size pipe should be feeding the valves? We have 1/2 inch and there is not enough pressure to feel a massage, it just feels like a horizontal shower spray, very disappointing.

Asked by: Bluetrout
Hi, Bluetrout! Thank you for your question. The Delta SH5005-SS body spray requires a 1/2"-14 NPT inlet to water supplies. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the difference between all the heads, specifically between the invigorating and the massaging? We are looking for the one with the most pressure. Thanks!

Asked by: Jill
Hi Jill, Thank you for your question! Invigorating has a more directed massaging spray in the middle but also offers some of warming/drenching effect provided by the soothing spray head. Massaging sprays will have have a more direct spray with a stronger flow rate. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

Do the heads (in my case there are 3) have to work at the same time or can I select which head to use, therefore I can put different type on each rough trim. My plumber have the 3 heads connected together, I am not sure that is the usual way to do it

Asked by: Anam
Hello, Anam! Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I apologize for this information not being available to you but I will be happy to help! If you install a separate six setting diverter valve and trim kit you can select which Delta Faucet SH5005-PN HydraChoice® Body Spray - H2Okinetic® Massaging Spray Head you want to use or you can have them. However, if they are all sharing the same supply line without a diverter, they will only be turned on or off and, unfortunately, not indepdently. Please contact us directly if further assistance is needed at this time. We appreciate your loyalty to Delta Faucet Company. Best Regards, Tim

Is the flow rate exactly the same for each and every style of Hydrachoice Spray heads (i.e, massaging vs. invigorating vs. soothing vs. normal spray)? Or, which one may feel like it has more force as it hits your body even though flow rate is same?

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model SH5005-PN H2Okinetic® Massaging Spray Head In Polished Nickel. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. The spray head flow rate is determined by the HydraChoice® Spray Trim. The model T50010 round body trim and the model T50210 square body trim have the same maximum flow rate of 1.0 gpm @ 80 PSI. See the trim specification sheet for more information: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-T50210%20Rev%20D.pdf Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
