Great looking; perfect for tight fit
Perfect smaller escutcheon. This was placed into existing spot although we had new Delta diverter added. Many replacements are wider than we could accommodate as our tub spout was close. This looks great and is perfect for a tight fit .

I have the same question as matt5, but hoping for simple yes or no. In addition to diverting the flow, will this also allow control of temperature & total water flow? It has blue and red dots on it, which would lead us to believe it controls temperature

The Delta Faucet model T11864-BL Ashlyn® 3-Setting 2-Port Diverter Trim In Matte Black is a diverter trim only. This model only diverts the water to the components you purchase and install. The Ashlyn Tub/Shower trims will control the temperature and will allow the water to flow through. Please refer to the link below on the available Ashlyn trim kits.

I'm going to have a showerhead with a handheld and I like the T11964-BL & R11000 diverter. The question I have is how does this handle work? Can you go from changing the water temperature to changing where the water flows from this just this single device

Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry this information is not readily available and I would be happy to help you.
First you would need to have a main valve which consists of a R10000-UNBX and any T13/14, T17 or 17T trim kit. This will turn the water on and change temperature. Next you would need the R11000 and T118 Diverter, this will provide 3 settings. First setting just shower head, next setting Both hand shower and shower head, and finally last setting is hand shower alone.

Why does the Matte Black finish on this product have the red/blue temperature indicator on it? This is a diverter right? It doesn't control temperature I'm assuming. None of the other colors have it on the picture. Just the matte black. Thanks!

MODEL#: T11864-BL will not have the red/blue indicators on it. The handle will be plain like all of the other finishes.

This valve is a diverter valve. It will change the flow of water between your shower components. You will also need a R10000 Universal valve, and a matching trim kit to complete the unit.

What comes in the trim kit? Specifically are the bonnet, plug, test cap & o-rings included?

The T11964 comes with the escutcheon, trim sleeve, handle and set screw, Along with the cartridge and sleeve. The R11000 will come with the bonnet, test cap and orings, and the valve.

I recently purchased Delta R11000 3 position diverter valve/trim kit T11864-SS. They were professionally installed. After 2 months of no problems, the diverter valve started squeaking loudly when changing positions. What is the best way to fix this?

Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet 3-Setting 2-Port Diverter Trim In Stainless MODEL#: T11864-SS. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you.
Noise from the diverter cartridge would be caused by debris, We would recommend flushing and soaking the cartridge in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Here are some flushing instructions:
1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either an 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off.
2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. The sleeve is threaded at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise.
3) After removing the sleeve, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body.
4) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds.
5) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled.
