I purchased one of these and I am missing the allen head that secures the knob to the diverter valve stem along with the plastic cover. Where can I get a replacement?

With this diverter, is it necessary to have a spout with a diverter?

Hello Jeff, Thank you for your question regarding Delta Faucet T11948! We apologize this information was not readily available to you but we are happy to assist! We recommend to install a diverter tub spout on the bottom port of the R10000-UNBX valve. The R11000 diverter valve will then connect to the top port of the R10000-UNBX.
