Is some kind of a plastic plug for handle where set screw goes in?

Thank you for your question. The Delta T11976-SS 6-Setting Diverter Trim Handle does have a button to hide the set screw in the handle. The set screw and button kit is part number RP100384.

A diverter would be added to a shower faucet to control the water flow going to different shower features. This 6-function diverter has settings for three shower features. Three individual settings and three shared settings.
