Will this work on an old (1980s) Classic Delta 600 series valve?

Unfortunately you will need to install a new R10000-UN rough-in valve in order to install this model.

Does this have a tub stopper so that the tub can be filled?

We need to replace our tub fixtures. The Delta T13422 is what we currently have in polished brass. We do not want to replace valve. We like this as polished brass. The Classic T13422 is only offered in stainless. Are the Delta valves compatible?
My home was built in the 90's could I replace my shower trim with this model without having to replace the valve?

Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet T13420-PBSHCPD.
If your shower contains the RP19804 white and blue cartridge the T13420-PBSHCPD is compatible. The new grey cartridge will not be compatible with the valve.
