PRODUCT FEATURES
The prismatic faceting of the Trillian™ Bath Collection is an evolution of modern style that creates an edgy look which catches the light as well as the eye. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. Our products are purposefully designed to simplify installation and enhance everyday use for all the moments that follow. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
- Lumicoat® Finishes are guaranteed to resist water spots and mineral buildup and easily wipe clean without chemicals or cleaners on the product’s most commonly touched areas

I cannot tell if a second valve is required to change the direction of the water from a tub spout to a hand shower. Does the Multichoice do this internally or is there a requirement of a second valve?

The Delta Faucet model T14043 Monitor 14 Series Valve Only Trim can be used to control the flow of water and the temperature, but it does not divert water. A tub spout with a diverter or a separate diverter rough-in valve and trim will be required to switch between the tub spout and hand shower.

Does the handle have to be installed sideways (at 90 degrees) or can it be up and down?

Our T14043-KS-PR is designed to have the handle pointing to the right. If the handle is up or down the valve has been installed incorrectly.

The correct Delta Faucet rough-in valve can be determined by your shower setup. The R10000-UNBX MultiChoice® Universal Tub / Shower Rough - Universal Inlets / Outlets is most commonly paired with a Delta Faucet tub and shower installation, whereas the R10000-UNBXHF MultiChoice® Universal High-Flow Shower Rough - Universal Inlets / Outlets is commonly paired with a shower only installation.

Hello, I would like to replace a (currently installed) Delta MODEL#: T18255-XO, with a Delta MODEL#: T14043. What will I need in addition to MODEL#: T14043 to complete this retrofit.--(just a MultiChoice® Universal Valve)? thanks in advance

To install this Delta Faucet T14043 Trillian™ Monitor 14 Series Valve Only Trim In Chrome you will only need the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve. However, to fill the larger hole left by the previous rough-in you may have to re-do your tile. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
