I am looking to purchase this trim kit but wondering what I would need to make my current “old” valve system that is a stem vs. cartridge compatible. I have a Symmons Temptrol S-86-2 valve with TA-10 spindle (1/2” sweat thread)

I am looking to change out the chrome valve trim only and not the cartridge. I currently have a 13/14 series the trim is labeled. Will this replace that without having to change the cartridge? The valve is the multi choice.

This trim will replace a MultiChoice 13/14 series trim. You can continue to use your same cartridge and keep the new included cartridge on hand if needed for future maintenance.
