Superb quality!
Certainly can tell a quality product when you turn the handle. It's a smooth turn and love that you can adjust the temperature setting within the knob. Our contractor was impressed with the quality of it after he was able to adjust how hot the water can be adjusted.

could this be mounted on wall for stand alone tub?
Thank you for your question, Jannine! That is correct. Model T14099-SS is the 14 series valve trim only. This will work with any of our current MultiChoice Universal rough-in valves. The shower port can be capped on these valves for a "tub only" installation. The Pivotal Non-Diverting tub spout is part number RP90159.

Please confirm that the Monitor 14 valve trim kit model 14099-PN-PR is compatible with rough-in valve body model R10000-UNBXHF (High Flow Shower Only) for a shower only application. Thanks - Mike

How do you remove the button, set screw and handle from the T14099? I’m needing to replace the cartridge due to a leaking shower head.
Hi Tony,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14099-SS.
The button is removed with a small tool, such as the rounded end of a paperclip, a toothpick, or a skewer. The set screw is loosened with a 3/32" hex wrench and the handle will pull off from the cartridge.
Replacing the RP4993 seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge is recommended maintenance for a shower head leak. See here for more information:

Does this piece work for any brand of shower or does it have to be a specific one of your own brand? Im buying every pieza single, so I dont know if is possible uso differents models as long as they are universal inputs

Thank you for your question! I will be happy to help. This trim kit must be installed onto the MultiChoice R10000-UNBX rough-in valve. However, from there you can install another company's shower head onto the shower arm coming from the wall, etc. Please contact us directly if we can be of further assistance at this time.

Does this valve turn the water ON and OFF or does it only control the temperature? Thanks!

Can the Handle "only" be replaced? The contractor put a gouge in the handle itself when he was installing it. Is there a part number for the handle only?
