Poor quality. Made of plastic- looks like a fun house mirror.
Performance is just as bad. Water comes out in a trickle, almost spray format. Slow to fill tub for a bath. Buyer beware.

Classy look but poor performance
We purchased the Ashlyn tub trim package for our new bathroom because I wanted something with a squared shape to match other fixtures. After installation, however, we realized that the water flow rate was minimal at best. This tub spout is plastic, and has a plastic inner tube that restricts the water flow to only 1.75 gpm, meaning it would take almost 20 minutes to get enough water to bathe in! We replaced the tub spout with Signature Hardware Greyfield spout, which has a 17 gpm flow rate, and it made a huge difference. I wish I had known what the Ashlyn's gpm was before buying. Do not recommend.

Works beautifully
We added a wand to our bathtub hardware which required us to get the T11964 six function piece. Though it was complicated and the instruction could have been more explicit, After watching several YouTube videos and reading other information we were able to install the piece. Now it works beautifully giving us more options.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this product for a new construction home to use with the body sprayers and hand held wand. Switching between the different functions is very smooth and looks really nice! I enjoy the various combinations of the water source that this product allows (i.e. body sprayers and shower head or just shower head).

Can this be used for a shower too?
Thank you for your question, Jonathan! Delta Ashlyn model T14464 has the same escutcheon, handle and tub spout as model T14164, but also comes included with a shower head.

does the diverter to go with this item have a part number?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 14164-SS.
I would not recommend using this tub trim with a shower diverter because the included non-diverter tub spout would not be able to change the water flow to the shower diverter.
Shower diverter trims in the Ashlyn collection are models T11864 and T11964. A diverter tub spout is RP77091.

Will this spout work using a free standing tub if tub is installed 4 inches from wall?

Our Delta T14164 has a tub spout length of 7 15/16" from the finished wall to where the water comes out, so if the tub is only 4" away then it should work.

How far should the iron pipe extend from the finished wall using an iron pipe with Adapter RP100154 and spout RP77092. The instructions with RP100154 do not show that dimension for iron pipe

Iron Pipe Install:
Extend thread past the finished wall.
Copper Sweat or Slip-on:
The pipe needs to extend the finished wall between 1/4"-1". This can be found on the adapter installation, please see the link below.

I have a 58680-RB25 & a T17076-RB w/R10000-UNWS in my tub/shower setup. I want to avoid getting a tub spout w/pullup diverter. Can I get a non-diverter spout & add this valve to serve as the diverter for my setup?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14164-RB.
This trim can be used as a faucet to mix the hot and cold water for the included tub spout. This would be a separate control from the T17076-RB used for the showerhead.
We do also carry diverter trims to direct water to different features after the water is mixed in the valve. But we don't recommend installing a tub spout to a diverter for a showerhead because the water flow will be reduced and it will take longer to fill a tub.
