Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now I do like it! I wrote a review yesterday stating I couldn't lodge the hand held-but I finally found the sweet spot and hope to be able to find it. I do really like it and the color and I think that I also said that I thought that the handheld water adjust was in the wrong place-but it's not-wanted revise my review but didn't see an edit button.

I just had this installed and the hand held has on been used less than five time and now it won’t stay in the socket and drops so I wrap it around the faucet handle but then this means I can’t use the full shower if I want. Also I think the spray adjuster is in the wrong place .

what is the difference between the 14 series and the 17 series

Hi coulter, Thank you for your question! The 13, 14, and 17 Series showers all use Monitor® pressure balancing valves for safety. The 17 Series has the added feature of a volume control while the 13 and 14 series offer temperature control only. Best regards, Brandis

The online installation instructions do not describe how the tub spout is attached to the pipe. Does the tub spout screw down onto Iron Pipe?

So I have the kit that I purchased installed with the rough in kit but I am unable to figure out how to turn the shower portion on. It says I have the Ashlyn 14 series that has the shower head and tub spout. How do I turn the shower on?

Hello Levi! Thank you for your question! I am happy to help The Delta Ashlyn 14 series shower with the tub spout has a diverter that must be pulled up to activate the shower. Our builder installed the Ashlyn shower head & handle in stainless. After two months, it has significant water spots, even with whole house filtration system. Looks almost corroded. How do I clean it, and what do I use to eliminate these in the future?

Hi dle313, Thanks for your question regarding T14464! To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying, or soaking. How do I repair this tub faucet as it has a slow hot water continuous leak in it. Any suggestions besides calling a plumber…I have “some” handyman skills. Thanks

Hi Hank55, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14464. We are happy to help with the leak. The leak would be caused by the rubber seats becoming worn or damaged. We recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and springs inside the legs of the RP46074 cartridge. Is the Ashlyn tub spout brass or plastic? I ordered one directly from Delta through a supply house and it came plastic. This contradicts the spec sheet which states brass. Please clarify.

We can't provide that level of detail every time and specific amounts are considered proprietary (trade secret). This faucet just started dripping for no reason it is 3 years old. This is a guest bathtub so we have only used maybe a dozen time. Is there an adjustment on it tighten to stop the dripping.

I am a plumber and often install the T14464-SS, but we run into troubles when we install the tub spout. The square edges on this spout scratch the fiberglass tub walls when they spin around being tightened. Anyone found a trick to not have this issue?
