Sure, you could purchase a more expensive shower head with all sorts of gadgets, but you don't need to. The Delta Ashlyn is an economical choice that delivers on ease of installation, use, and cleanliness. The handheld wand is easy to detach/attach thanks to Delta's improved design. The water flow is relaxing and consistent regardless of the spray option (there are 3 choices with this model). The wand is perfect for rinsing your entire shower as well as washing the dog. If you like singing in the shower, this is the product for you.

Its plastic!
While the style is nice - the outer casing of the tub spout is chrome colored plastic and not metal like I'd anticipated. It would be helpful to identify in the description of the items that they are plastic. I would have purchased another item.

I Get 5 Star Hotel Showers at my House!
I had high expectations because I’ve used Delta products before and the quality has always been top notch. This shower/tub combo did not disappoint. The instructions are thorough (and include pictures) and I found them surprisingly easy to follow. I’m a total novice, but I successfully installed this without issue. I love the fact that everything but the valve is included, and the products are made to last. The lifetime warranty is proof that they stand behind their products and don’t expect to have to replace many. I am excited to take showers now; the water flows perfectly and it is super easy to clean. For the first time in my life, I don’t have to worry about someone flushing while I’m in the shower and scalding me! I highly recommend it.

Installed the Delta Ashlyn T14464 Tub and Shower combo. Being that I never installed a tub and shower combo before I had to call in for help. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be to install. Well, now that it's up, it's beautiful. I looks gorgeous in my bathroom. I love the knob to turn it on and select how much hot you want to add. The shower head water flows out freely with a little hit of pressure as if it was a message shower head. I love it.

Delta is a fantastic brand backed by an amazing warranty. The shower combo was a lot lighter weight than I thought it would be, but was still made to be durable. The shower head was easy to install and so was the handle to control the water flow from tub to shower. The temperature handle is very easy to move and is actually certified for the Disabilities act. Not to mention the shower system has a special ability to conserve water flow and stop you from getting burned by difference in pipe temperatures. In other words, if someone flushes the toilet, your water will still stay the same temperature in the shower because of this ability.

Looks great!
After I was finally able to get my old shower head and spout off I was able to follow the easy to read instructions and install the Delta T14464. Once installed it looks great, but I am a bit concerned about the spout being only plastic.

Easy installation with a standard Delta rough in value. It looks great once it is up on the wall. The construction of the faucet handle and shower head is sturdy and something that feels like it will last a long while. The tub faucet is plastic and doesn't feel durable. I am concerned that if it gets bumped or anything runs across it that it will scratch or fall apart. I'd stick with the shower trims if possible. Super nice looking faucet set.

This Delta T14464 shower/bath faucet was for my new home that we just purchased. The old one, needed replacement. My husband installed and it was easy to install on our home. Modern and efficient
We recently installed this in our guest bath and are very pleased. It was easy to install and the trim pieces feel very durable. The shower head produces a great strong water flow. I love the modern look and the fact it won't rust. It features water certification which helps to use less water. Another bonus is the rubber holes that make it easy to clean any buildup from the spray nozzle. The Delta name is a leader in the industry and I would totally recommend.

Leaks
Started leaking a year after installing. Plumber checked it out and couldn’t find a problem. Made sure water was emptied out of hose. Tried shutting off, then slightly turning handle on. Worked for a while. Then tried turning off with a little force. Again worked for a while. Now leaking a lot! Not happy with this purchase!

On the inside of the tub spout there is a plastic square which slows the water flow. Can the plastic square be removed so there is more water volume coming out.

We are trying to replace a Delta shower/tub faucet from the early 90's. Is this compatible with the plumbing, valve? already installed? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry! As long as the screw holes on your original 13/1400 series large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then the Delta Ashlyn Tub and Shower T14464 and any of our other trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits will not fit your valve body, so you will need to reuse your existing cartridge (RP19804, Blue/White).

Thank you for your question. Stem extension kit RP77991 can be ordered to allow for an additional 1 3/4" wall thickness. This kit ships with chrome escutcheon screws.

My customer purchased the T14464 trim with the R10000unbx valve. We shipped the valve for the rough in and the plumber is saying he needs the cartridge to finish rough in installation. . Does this not come with the valve?
