Water Temperature

Great Shower Package!

Great Looking but Tub Trim is Plastic
Easy installation with a standard Delta rough in value. It looks great once it is up on the wall. The construction of the faucet handle and shower head is sturdy and something that feels like it will last a long while. The tub faucet is plastic and doesn't feel durable. I am concerned that if it gets bumped or anything runs across it that it will scratch or fall apart. I'd stick with the shower trims if possible and look for a difference tub faucet that is metal if possible. Aside from that, the product is great.

Love this product
My husband likes the handheld and I like the stationary shower head. This was a perfect compromise without compromising style. One feature that we did not realize and absolutely LOVE is that the hot/cold setting sort of stays with the on/off lever so you get the same temperature every time without adjusting!!

We had this set installed in our main shower in 2016. We have been happy with it up until now but we cannot get the shower to not drip. We have tried shutting off the handle harder. We have tried bringing the handheld (which where the drips comes from) and emptying it after the shower, and no luck. Our installer did not save the instructions, so we are at a loss how to correct this issue.

Great Product
Due to building our own home, we are very involved with all trades including plumber. Our contracted plumber recommended that we use Delta through out our home. We chose the Delta T14464 Ashlyn Monitor 14 Series Single Function Pressure Balanced Tub and Shower Trim Package for our guest bathroom. We wanted a little more than a basic package and we got it! The Delta T14464 Ashlyn looks awesome, contemporary, durable and a great value!! We are very pleased!!

Delta Shower Head
I am a general contractor specializing in bathroom remodeling and this shower head is good if you don't want to spend a lot of money, however the shower head assembly is all made of all plastic and the removable head is difficult to insert into the holder. The valve and handles are fine and typical of Delta's product line which is decent quality for the money.

Liked the design, function is just okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this design for our master bath to match with other items we purchased that had a square design, It is difficult to remove the hand held part from the fixed showerhead. I didn't seat it right one time and it fell almost hitting me on the head. Once you get it in there right, it is secure. We are not that impressed with the water pressure that comes from it. The hose is stiff and really sticks out from the wall. We are assuming this will relax over time, but it is kind of in the way right now.
Unfortunately, we also bought the round design for two other bathrooms. To avoid the cost of a return, we are living with them, though we don't love them. The hose is stiff and really sticks out from the wall. We are assuming this will relax over time, but it is kind of in the way right now.

Only negative is adjusting controls for both cold and hot is sticky and doesn't adjust easily. Also we almost always have pressure up all the way because it sticks and can't get it turned all the way warm with low pressure

On the inside of the tub spout there is a plastic square which slows the water flow. Can the plastic square be removed so there is more water volume coming out.

Removing this part will damage the tub spout and will not increase the flow rate. If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact us directly.

We are trying to replace a Delta shower/tub faucet from the early 90's. Is this compatible with the plumbing, valve? already installed? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry! As long as the screw holes on your original 13/1400 series large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then the Delta Ashlyn Tub and Shower T14464 and any of our other trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits will not fit your valve body, so you will need to reuse your existing cartridge (RP19804, Blue/White).

Is there an extension kit for this trim?

Thank you for your question. Stem extension kit RP77991 can be ordered to allow for an additional 1 3/4" wall thickness. This kit ships with chrome escutcheon screws.

My customer purchased the T14464 trim with the R10000unbx valve. We shipped the valve for the rough in and the plumber is saying he needs the cartridge to finish rough in installation. . Does this not come with the valve?
