It is impossible to pull up the part that diverts water to shower and if you do get it up it won't go down. Literally feels like you will break it off the wall each time you try to change from tub to shower. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointing Nothing but trouble! My first issue was in how difficult it is to pull up the part of the tub spout that diverts water to shower. It is not possible to get full diversion unless you turn off water first and even then it is extremely challenging to manipulate up. Horrible design. Now I am faced with the temperature adjustment handle coming loose so I have to fiddle with it to adjust temperature. It will actually fall off if I don’t hold it on. I am the only person to use this tub and I’m careful so all of this is not from misuse. Caution advised when considering this design!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design. Poor quality. It looks good. That is about the only good thing about this product. Quality and design are very poor. Shower head had pitiful water pressure. Also, it broke and had to be replaced after less than a year of use. It just started spraying water everywhere from the back of the head. It is very hard to work the pull on the tub spout when you need to switch water from the spout to the shower and back. You literally have to wrestle the thing up or down risking breaking the spout off the wall. The warranty for this product is tricky too. When something breaks, make sure you contact Delta customer service first, before you call your plumber! Even if you’re not a plumber yourself and not quite sure what you’re dealing with. Otherwise, your warranty will be no good. Anyways, save yourself the disappointment, opt for something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice, functions terrible. This tub and shower faucet has a great design and looks nice...but it functions horribly. I installed a new valve and this Stryke set on my new tub install. Expensive mistake. While I like the look, the shower head is terrible. You push the lever to change the spray. One setting is just to drizzle. The other settings work ok, but they also drip a lot. It's very sloppy and sprays everywhere. The tub spout looks good as well. The design on the pull to make the shower floor is terrible. If the water is running you have to pull super hard for it to engage, then you're likely to only get it half way up. It seems you have to pull the tub faucet valve up before you start the water or you won't get the shower fully engaged. Poor design. I'd go with another style, or better yet, get a Kohler. Sorry I spent my money on this set.

Can this set be used for just a tub with no shower above? Is there a way to cap off the shower part?

Hi, Cindy! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T14476-BL Tub and Shower Trim Kit can be installed without having to use the shower head. The top port on the MultiChoice Universal R10000 Rough In Valve Body can be capped for tub-only installation. Best Regards, Rosanna

What other parts do you need for this set up? Rough in? Which one? Universal valves? Which one?
