Can this set be used for just a tub with no shower above? Is there a way to cap off the shower part?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T14476-BL Tub and Shower Trim Kit can be installed without having to use the shower head. The top port on the MultiChoice Universal R10000 Rough In Valve Body can be capped for tub-only installation.

What other parts do you need for this set up? Rough in? Which one? Universal valves? Which one?
Thank you for your question, White! Any of the Delta Multichoice Universal rough-in valves such as the R10000-UNBX would work with this trim; however, as it does include a tub spout, an "HF" or "High Flow" model will not, as this version does not include an open tub spout port.

Which drain assembly?
Thank you for your question, White! We advise using a Delta bath waste assembly; however, these are not included with a shower trim and must be purchased separately. If you do not already have a Delta bath waste assembly installed, you will need to contact the manufacture of the original bath waste assembly to ensure the right size needed.
