Hi Cathy, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17235. There is a set screw under the cover that uses a 3/32" Allen wrench. A nonmetal tool like a card can be used to work the cover out. Or if there is a hole, a toothpick or skewer. Please reach out with any additional questions! Hi Dave, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! To remove the handle on T17435 you will need the 3/32" inch allen wrench. Please also shut the water off if you are planning to remove more than the handle. 1. Please remove the temperature cap located under the pointer part of your handle with the 3/32" inch allen wrench. 2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note how this piece is installed. We appreciate your inquiry. A diverter tub spout like RP73371CZ would be connected to the valve tub outlet, and a diverter like T11835-CZ would be used with the shower outlet to change between a showerhead and hand shower. Hi Dave, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! If you are removing the parts from your shower, please turn the water off to either the home or the valve. Please refer to the instructions below on how to remove our 17 series handle. 1. Please remove the temperature cap located on the tip of your handle by placing your fingers on the 'pointer' of the temperature cap and peeling upwards. This will be a little difficult as it is clipped into the temperature knob. 2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note this black cog piece goes in one way. We appreciate your inquiry. Hi Beachy, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet T14035. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean, soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturer's instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: · Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy-duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid bleach-based cleaners. · Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. · Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
