Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just say no to reconditioned Bought this back in August and opened the package in October to install it. Upon inspecting the parts, I quickly found a broken part. Clearly these are not inspected properly after someone returns them breaking it during their install. Now two emails later, I am still trying to convince Delta to send me a replacement. We'll see if Delta comes through on this...

Will this fit the 1500 series type valves with the black mixing type lever?

Hello! No, you will need to install a new R10000-UN rough in valve to install a T17 series trim kit. Does this include the handle and the valve trim? (Everything but the valve itself, correct?)

Will this fit on to a 1700 series delta cartridge tub shower

Will this fit a delta dual control valve made prior to March 2006 but after 1993?

Hi James, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17038-R. This can be used to update a pre-2006 1700 or dual control shower. Except that the new cartridge does not fit the old valve. You will need to use the old RP32104 cartridge instead of the included cartridge.
