Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delta Vero I was a little upset to see that blue and red, cold and hot on the face plate as I did not want any color on it, but now I am stuck because I needed the valves to get in the house with no time to exchange. Besides that I have not operated these yet so I am not sure how they will work but I have 3 and hope they work as promised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Temperature handle deos not work correctly With the handle I replaced I could get hot(preferred temp.) water at very low volumes and the temp could be changed at any volume and after replacement I can only get hot at very high volume. Any advice? All is great otherwise and Delta is the only brand I ever buy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s fine, but the corners are too sharp. Sounds silly but we’ve all cut ourselves at one time or another on the stupid handles if we aren’t paying attention. The toilet paper holder is worse, super sharp.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor flow, plastic lever, loose handle. =junk Pure junk. Hardly enough volume to run a showerhead. Plastic temp handle. Volume handle wiggles cheaply and requires half a turn before any water flows. Cheap red and blue labels for hot and cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality but... I like it. It's a modern look. My husband really, really wanted the temperature setting thing that this comes with. You can leave the lever in a position that remembers the water temp you like. BUT....you then have to wait, and wait and wait for the water to get to that temperature and you waste a lot of water. So, we of course turn on the water, push the temp to the highest heat temp so the water comes in hot faster and then move it to where we like it. So I wish we didn't spend the extra $100 for a feature that is essentially useless. Just get the plain on turn on / off model or the one where you can control the volume. It does look good though. And its solid.

ON/OFF and Temperature handles move together?

Just had this installed in my new shower and I see that the temperature and the on/off levers move together when I turn on the water. Is this the way it is supposed to be? I was under the impression that the two handles are set independently, that is water on/off lever moves independently from temperature lever. As it is currently installed (newly installed) when I turn the water on, the temperature lever moves with the on/off lever. Please advise.

Hello Patrick, Thank you for your question. Both handles on the model T17053-SS do move together. However, the temperature dial can also be adjusted on its own. Once it is adjusted, it will stay at that position even when it moves with the pressure control handle. Best Regards, Courtney

Need separate Vero Wall Tub only set

Can I purchase the Vero showe/tub faucet set for separate walk in shower and separate bath tub. Since, don't see a tub set only, can I use the shower part with the value trim for the shower, and use the bath spout for the tub and purchase a separate vero monitor 17 series to complete the bathtub? If so, what additional items would be required. Or, if you have the tub only set, please direct me to it..thanks

Hi Moni, Thank you for your question! We don't have a tub only valve trim set in the Vero collection, however you can purchase the Vero Valve Only Trim, T17053 and add a Vero non-diverter tub spout, RP48333. We do have a shower only trim kit with the valve trim and showerhead. The model number is T17253. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the GPM for the T17053 Trim

Hi Brian, Thank you for your question. The flow rate is determined by the combination of the trim, rough, and your household water presure. The T17053 trim with a R10000-UNBXHF rough, and 60 psi pressure will produce 6.6 gallons per minute. Thanks, Dave

how to remove volume control handle and sleeve on T17053

we need to loosen so that we can tile behind the install bracket

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17053 has two handles on it. One is for volume and one is for temperature. You should be able to pop off the temperature handle by squeezing the sides together and then pull the knob off. Underneath there is a screw that can be removed so you can remove what you need.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17053-SS has two handles that sit on top of each other. The top handle is for temperature, and the bottom handle is for volume control.

Compatibility with T11853 Diverter

Hello, Will a pressure balanced valve work with T11853 Diverter or is it necessary to purchase the thermostatic valve? Thank you

I have to adjust the cut off handle to shut off the shower head (Delta T17053-SS Vero Monior 17).  How do I adjust the  valve to shut off?

Hello Howard, Thank you for your question. The motion of the volume control handle on the Delta Vero Valve Trim T17053-SS is as you describe from approximately 4 o-clock to 1 o-clock. The temperature control is also working properly with the coldest temperature aligned with the volume control. The range of motion depends on where the rotational limit stop is set. Will it work with In2ition handheld shower (model# 58045)?

I would like to have a wall mount and handheld shower features but also want to coordinate this with other Vero products e.g. sink and tub faucet in my bathroom. Please kindly confirm it will work. Any information regarding what parts I need to order for complete installation will be appreciated.
