With a design inspired by the shape of sailboats, the Galeon® Bath Collection brings a chiseled, contemporary look into the bath. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Single lever valves that only allow the water to be either on or off are awful. This product is a great alternative to the awful single lever trend. It works and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Appearance, All Metal Got this the other day (note I have yet to install it though) and was very pleased. I wanted all metal, simple lines and a round escutcheon. This fits the bill and it looks nice. Importantly to me is the temperature control valve I received is metal, not plastic like on some of the other Delta trim kits.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor QC Bought 2 Ashlyn Bathroom valves.(t17064). Both units had an important piece missing. Also Plumber unable to engage the temperature control arm to the unit. Called Delta and they are sending new parts that hopefully work. The man I spoke to was very good and helpful. But still the product is poor. Sorry I bought it.

What is the flow rate (gpm) for the Monitor 17 series valve T17072 with no shower head restriction?

Hi Steve, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The GALEON™ 17 Series Valve Only Trim MODEL#: T17072-PR has a maximum flow rate of 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi. The tub port has a maximum flow rate of 6.2 gpm @ 60 psi with R10000-UNBX. does this valve come in oil rub bronze?

Plumber installed this today and the temperature control handle moves with the volume control handle. Is this correct? Is something too tight or a faulty cartridge?

I bought the Galeon shower valve T17072-PR. I need a larger cover plate (flange) to cover the old holes in the wall. Is there anything compatible available?

I need to get the installation directions for this Galeon valve.  It currently leaks and needs to be reinstalled and adjusted not to leak and also provide more flow

See the maintenance and installation instructions here: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107529%20Rev%20G.pdf A leak when off is typically caused by wear or damage to the rubber seats in the RP46073 adapter. The instructions say to rotate the cartridge so that the words "HOT SIDE" appear on the left of the cartridge as it is being installed.  I do not see the words "HOT SIDE" on the cartridge at all.  From the outside, the cartridge looks symmetrical.
