Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality shower valve It looks and feels great. I also purchased the diverter rough-in valve as I am remodeling my bathroom! I previously had an older model and I like having the double valve as I can have the shower on full and adjust the temperature separately!

Q&A

The spec sheet states under Features that this valve has a "Monitor® 17 Series thermostatic valve cartridge." My understanding is that Monitor® 17 Series is only pressure balanced. Is the model T17076 trim a pressure balanced or thermostatic valve?

Hello. Our plumber installed three of these valves and we like them a lot. But we notice there are gaps between the temp adjustment value and water value. And I can see the white pieces inside. Is that normal?

I need instructions about how to use both controls

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi valued customer, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17076. The larger handle turns on the faucet and controls the water volume. Turn the handle counterclockwise to turn on and increase the volume. Turn the handle clockwise to turn off the faucet. The smaller handle or knob controls temperature. Turn counterclockwise for more hot water. The maximum temperature can be adjusted with the rotational limit stop during installation or as needed: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/How-to-Adjust-Your-Rotational-Limit-Stop-T17-Series-Video Please reach out with any additional questions! Why is this labelled as "Valve"? It is not a valve. It is a handle only. One of the first things listed in description is that you need to buy the valve separately. The title of this product is extremely misleading. It's false advertising.

Asked by: Peter
Hello Peter! Thank you for your question! I am happy to help The Delta T17076 is considered a "valve trim". The Delta R10000-UNBX is considered a "rough-in Valve. They are two different components that work together to complete the valve. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance. Best Regards, Antoine

On the 17 Multichoice, how do you remove the temp knob? I see a small light grey piece that seems to be driven/pressed into the back of the handle, but I am unable to find any assistance in how to remove it?

Two Questions. I have a T17076 stryke valve trim. The hot/cold handle broke off and the plastic edge is broken. Can I just but the handle? I am having trouble regulating the temperature. I cannot make it any hotter than 102 degrees. How to fix?

Asked by: Jack
Hello Jack, Thank you for contacting us! I am happy to help you! I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta Faucet shower cartridges. This provides the option of hotter water. We also recommend making sure the water heater temperature is set to 120 degrees or lower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By5b7uazCqM Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Are the flow rate and temperature control handles both made of metal? We insist on a trim kit with no plastic handles. What are our option in Delta's Series 17 shower trim kits?

Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Our Delta product is a mixture of metallic and non-metallic material, Quality is very important to us and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Please reach out with further questions!
