The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. Shower head leaking and handle is chipped
I was very disappointed after the installation. The shower head rubber nipple leaks in the off position. And the handle has a chip. I would not recommend.

Low water pressure on hot. Loose handles.
I had the Kayra series 1705 shower head, valve, handles, etc installed in a remodel. The water pressure is low when full hot is turned on. Temperature regulator dial was turned all the way to maximum hot. Installer told us that was normal because it's limiting the cold water supply and turned the temp 'dial' down, from full hot. Still have a problem with low pressure. Also, water was dripping out when valve was in off position. Installer played around with the cartridge and it stopped. Also, the handles become loose and has had to be retightened twice. I would expect better quality from Delta products and would NOT recommend this piece of crap to anyone.

Temperature adjustment
Nice trim, however the instruction do not explain h E to adjust temperature. Upon completion temp is no higher than 90 deg.

Thiis shower head contained all the features I wanted in a shower head; its operation is smooth and allows me to fine tune the water spray pattern and intensity.

Not impressed with the product. The handle to turn on/off is too small and it is difficult to regulate the water temperature. It is poorly designed.

When my contractor installed the shower handles for water and cold/hot control, the water temp adjustment handle is facing upward not down. Why is this??

The position of the temperature handle depends on the current temperature setting. The temperature handle can move with the volume handle staying in place.

I have hard water at my house. I currently have a showerhead that can be unscrewed in the detachable part and a hard water cartridge can be placed inside. Does this have that ability?

How can we adjust the water temperature? Our shower water is lukewarm with the control valve set on the highest temperature. Is there a second way to adjust the temperature, perhaps on the shower head?

Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company!
To adjust your 1700 series temperature for hotter water, please follow the instructions below.
Please turn the hot and cold water supplies off. Please gather a philips screwdriver.
1. Please remove the temperature cap located on the tip of your handle by placing your fingers on the 'pointer' of the temperature cap and peeling upwards. This will be a little difficult as it is clipped into the temperature knob.
2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note this black cog piece goes in one way.
3. Pull the large handle off with the "black cog" piece and set it somewhere safe.
4. Slide the decorative sleeve off of the valve, you will now see a silver bonnet nut and a brass valve.
5. Please remove the bonnet nut with a strap wrench, then pull the cartridge out.
6. You will see a plastic piece in the back of the valve body that is holding o-rings and seats and springs. Please remove this part.
7. We recommend flushing the valve before installing the new cartridge assembly.
8. To flush the valve, please shut the shower curtain or shower door, turn the water on, and let it flow for about 30 seconds to a minute.
*Please note there is a limit to how far this will rotate, if you rotate to the hottest setting it will be the same temperature as your water heater. This is not recommended as it can cause scalding. Please also note that each notch you rotate to can range anywhere between 4 and 16 degrees Fahrenheit.*

Considering Monitor 17 Series shower install. Obviously, the portable shower wand is mobile. The question relates to the main shower head that holds the portable shower wand. Is the main shower head somewhat movable left/right and up/down?

How do you change the settings on the Kayra monitor 17 shower head? Not all the shower head openings are putting water out. Would like more full stream of water. Just remodeled the bathroom and really like the look of all the Kayra collection.

The spray setting on model T17233-BL-I can be adjusted by using the mode selector on the face of the hand shower. The spray settings include: Full Body spray, Massage spray, Full spray with Massage, and Pause.

We are happy with the fixture however the max temperature is under 90 degrees. The manual does not provide a detailed description of how to adjust nor is there any helpful videos on the Delta site.

How do I turn the lever that makes the water come out

Our T17233-SS-I has a volume handle and a temperature handle. To turn the water on, rotate the larger handle counterclockwise. The smaller handle will adjust temperature.
