The Saylor® Bath Collection is an intriguing blend of traditional and contemporary design elements with strong, geometric forms and hints of industrial style in the handles. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle—without interrupting your set temperature. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. While other products may gather unsightly mineral buildup over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look — with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Not quality metal parts, bait and switch
They sell this as a quality Delta product that's Chrome when they should say "chrome finish" because the tub filler portion is called chrome which implies metal but if you dig deep into the parts description, it's actually composed of "non-metal".
Basically bait and switch, Delta implies their products are made with quality parts when they're actually cheap plastic garbage.

Color
Champagne Bronze color has a pink tone. I purchased other Delta Champagne Bronze for my kitchen a few months ago and it did not have a pink tone. I’m very unhappy about this. I didn’t notice it until it got installed. Delta should unify their colors so that you know what you’re getting.

Bought this on Amazon.com in October 2023. The diverter handle keeps falling off, because the set screw isn't seated properly. It looks like it CAN'T be seated properly. Please help.

Which shower head comes with this bundle? Do you sell the shower head separately, if so what is the model #? Does the head swivel? Is this a "Rain" showerhead?

Our T17235-CZ includes the valve trim and the shower head, shower arm, shower flange. The shower head can be purchased separately and the part number is 52668-CZ in our Champagne Bronze finish. Most of our standard shower heads will swivel 20 to 22 degrees in all directions.

Our shower was built with a Series 1700 Monitor faucet (shower only) in 1997. Will a new T17235-SS-1 Shower faucet work with a replacement RP32104 Cartridge, or will it require a new valve?
Does the tub spout attach by screwing down onto Iron Pipe? There are no details in the online installation instructions.
Is there any modern looking and/or similar trim kits you would recommend that would work with the RP19804 cartridge? I'm finding it difficult to decipher which current models would be compatible to replace my old Monitor 1400 valve.

You can use any of our current 1400 series tub/shower trim kits with an older 1400 series valve. Please note that the Integrated models and the Foundations models are not compatible. Please also note that the cartridge included with our new trim kits are not compatible with the older valves.

My handle on my delta shower won’t come off, I believe it’s a T17435(two handles, one for the temperature and the other one for turning the water on)

To remove the handle on T17435 you will need the 3/32" inch allen wrench. Please also shut the water off if you are planning to remove more than the handle.
1. Please remove the temperature cap located under the pointer part of your handle with the 3/32" inch allen wrench.
2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note how this piece is installed.

Trying to get the handle off my delta shower, I don’t know the model #

If you are removing the parts from your shower, please turn the water off to either the home or the valve. Please refer to the instructions below on how to remove our 17 series handle.
1. Please remove the temperature cap located on the tip of your handle by placing your fingers on the 'pointer' of the temperature cap and peeling upwards. This will be a little difficult as it is clipped into the temperature knob.
2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note this black cog piece goes in one way.

The temperature nozzle continues to come apart despite tightening it with the Allen wrench. It loosened and fallen apart five times. Could it be faulty? What do you suggest? It was installed in March 2025.

Does the volume control arm rotate independent of the temperature control arm?

The volume is controlled separately from the temperature. Turning the volume handle will move the temperature knob, but it does not change the temperature unless the knob is turned.

What is the best way to clean water spots from the champagne bronze finish? Although we have a softener, ours is well water and still gets some spotting especially with shower fixtures, grab bars, etc.

Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet T14035.
Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean, soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturer's instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
· Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy-duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
· Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
· Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
