PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.

I first thought it was the pressure at my home, but it turns out that it's the shower head. I did give it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Product I purchase three Delta Dryden Monitor 17 Series shower trims in stainless from Ferguson's and all three shower heads will not seal when threaded onto the neck pipe, even when utilizing TFE tape. I hired a Pumper to see if he could seal the shower heads and he was unable. We measure the inside diameter of the shower head threads with a micrometer and they measured 18.5 to 19 mm. We also notice that when the shower head connector is thread to the neck pipe, the shower head connector experienced plastic deformation (we utilized two wraps of PTFE). This should not be occurring and is a sign of a material defect. I will be filling a claim with both Ferguson and Delta. Please note, I previously purchased a Delta Dryden Monitor 17 Series shower trim in stainless from Ferguson's and the shower head when threaded to the neck pipe sealed with only one wrap of TFE tape.

Is there a T17251-SP-WE model available?

Does this come in SpotShield Stainless?

Hi David, Thank you for your question, David. The WE version of this faucet is not available in SpotShield Stainless. Hi. Is the Dryden Chrome Shower System, SS17T25135 Massachusetts Code Accepted?

Hi John, Thank you for your question. The Delta Dryden Shower Trim T17251-WE has a flow rate of 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. The new National Low Lead Law, or Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act (Senate Bill 3874), sets the national standard for lead in pipes, pipe fittings and faucets at 0.25 percent (weighted average), joining the standards already set by the individual states of California, Vermont, Maryland, Louisiana, and Massachusetts. Is the water saver easy to remove?

Thank you for your question, Susan! Model T17251-WE does not include a removable part in regards to the water saving feature. The flow restrictor is not meant to be removed and doing so will allow harmful debris into the unit as well as void the warranty. Best regards, Edward

What is cleaner safe to use if you need to clean calcium and limescale buildup on the Venetian bronze finish?

Thank you for your question, Nesgj5! Venetian Bronze is an organic finish so care should be taken to avoid harsh cleaners. For mineral build up we recommend a mixture of white vinegar and water in equal parts. After cleaning, the finish should be wiped clean with fresh water and a soft cloth. Will this trim kit work with the Delta RP32104 cartridge assembly?

Is this compatible with the asse 1016 masco valve?

I failed to hand swipe the 'Touch Clean Spray holes' of our Dryden shower head for the past couple of years. I did soak it in a Vinegar/Water solution and flow did improve some. Would it acceptable to use a CLR solution to further increase the pressure?

We do not recommend products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. We recommend soaking again in the 50/50 white vinegar and water if the issue remains. I recently installed the Dryden monitor 17T and the valve plate got dented after by the shower door. A door stop has been installed to prevent this again, can I purchase new plate for this unit?  It is model T17251-SS
