If possible highly recommend seeing them up close at a Ferguson Outlet or other Delta retailor. Also would be quite nice to throw in the valve for the price you pay for the fixture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Front knob is plastic, front knob and lever both loose. Bought at plumbing supply (not big box) so it's supposed to be better quality and installed by professional plumber. For more than $300 the levers should be tight and smooth. It's neither.

In addition, the shower in the hall bathroom, remodeled at the same time (9/15) model T17438 is starting to drip too. Plumber is getting rich.

The only complaint is the installation was finished in May and in August I have a dripping shower head. if I have to rebuild every 3 months I be looking for a different faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonderful and attractive [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this shower head as a set with the 6 function control valves, the body washes and the hand shower. Overall this is a fantastic set. The 6 function control allows you to turn on two features at at time. You can turn on the the main shower head along with the hand shower or the body washes or just the body washes and the hand shower. You can also turn on one item at a time. The main shower head and hand shower heads are plastic, which was a bit disappointing as it seems these should be metal, but the other parts are all metal. The hand shower hose is very good quality. The main shower head seems to not have as good a pressure as I might like, it is more like a gentle shower head. The body washes are awesome, and are very high pressure. The hand shower is also more gentle. We got two body washes, and I would suggest getting three, it is worth the money to get the extra wash. (Might be a little less pressure with three, but use your best judgement if pressure vs. more volume is your preference. Installer says everything was easy to install and clearly labeled in separate boxes. Overall an A+. Hoping the plastic pieces hold up over time, but can always buy replacements if needed. I might like a more forceful (pressure wise) hand shower, but it still works well. We can always change that later.

Hi. Is the model T17251 Dryden 1-Handle Rain Can Shower head, a WaterSense model?

I have a new Dryden tub/shower faucet and the water does not get hot. The temp lever does not go all the way to the end of the red but does adjust all the way to the end of the blue side. Is that the problem?

Hi, Wendy! Thank you for your question. There is a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted so that the faucets more hot water to come out. To adjust, please remove the temperature cover and take a phillips head screw driver and turn the set screw counter clockwise to remove. Please remove the gray knob. Behind the knob, you should see a black disk. Please take this disk and take it out and place the disk to the hotter side. The hot side should be up against the iron piece that is sticking down on the volume handle. If you need some assistance, please call us at 1-800-345-3358 for further instructions. I hope this helps. Will this perform well at 45 psi. I'm on a well and average that pressure

Thank you for your question. When using Delta Faucet model # T17251 on a well with 45 psi, you should see no difference in the GPM from the showerhead. There will still be 2.5 gpm. You might lose a gallon from the tub spout. There will probably be around 5 gpm from the tub spout.

new trim kits for an existing valve

I have an multi-function single handle shower valve that I am wanting to upgrade the trim kit on. The brass valve body is stamped with a 1016P. I like the style of the Dryden but it looks like these kits come with a cartridge that I dont need. Is that correct? Can I purchase just the trim and shower head without the guts of the valve body?

Hi Brett, Thank you for your question. The Dryden model T17251 will work with your existing rough in valve. Depending on the age of your existing faucet the cartridge that ships with the new trim may or may not fit your existing valve. If your faucet is newer than February 2006 the cartridge would fit, if it is older than that date the cartridge will not fit. We do not offer the faucet trims without the cartridges. You could piece together the trim separately but it would be more expensive than the full trim with the cartridge. Thanks, Dave

Does this come with a rubber gasket that goes between shower arm and shower head?

My shower head continually drips water from the bottom even when the water is turned off. What could be the issue?

Hi, cleveland714! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta shower unit. You may have some debris trapped in the valve body or cartridge assembly that is blocking the water flow.You may need to clean out the cartridge assembly and flush out the valve body. First turn off the water supply to the faucet. Remove the handle assembly, unscrew the bonnet ring and remove the cartridge assembly and all seals. Rinse and clean the cartridge out thoroughly. Turn both the hot and cold water back on for 10 to 15 seconds to flush out the valve body. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall all of the components. Make sure that there is no debris on the cartridge assembly and seals. If this does not resolve your issue, we do recommend to replace the seal kit adapter, RP46073. Multi port diverter option

Hi, I want to to control water to the tub faucet, the shower head or a hand held sprayer. Is there a diverter valve option for this product to enable 3 separate output capabilities.

Does this have a different cartridge than other 17 Series?

I was using your website's compare feature to look at the Lahara and Dryden trims. For the valve and cartridge information, the Dryden says NA, whereas the Lahara says Dual-function pressure balance cartridge. Does the Dryden not have the same dual-function pressure balance cartridge, too?
