With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. It was easy to install and really made a difference in the look of the bathroom. Very nice quality and gave the bathroom instant modern luxury. I also bought the tub trim and matching sink faucets, as well as the towel bar and ring. So nice to have it all match and update a really dated bathroom.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WARM WATER I cannot say I am enjoying this product because e cannot get the water to get hot we barely get warm water out of it,now we will have to call a plummer and pay a fee in order for him to hopefully get some hot water. Quite disappointed in the item. And the champagne bronze is hard to keep clean, we've using it for only a week and the color is turning dark, it does not have the brilliant color as hen it came out of the box

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the pattern This is my first Delta T17 series. I love the way it works. you never have to change the heat setting unless you want to. Just jump in shower and go. I don't care for the polished nickel. It looks chrome. Everything in my bathroom is brushed nickel. This model was only offered in polished. I didn't think it would be that much of a difference, but it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product I bought this for a walk-in shower. We mounted the shower head to the ceiling of the new shower with a 2" drop down arm so its at 9 foot to rain down on you. Its perfect & feels really awesome. The shower turn on control is wonderful too for being able to set the heat at your preference leaving it there & each time you turn shower on you don't have to test temp because its already set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware - most of this shower trim kit is plastic I ordered this shower trim kit without seeing it in person. I wish I had. Even though everywhere I have looked the description says brass - it is not. The hot and cold lever is brass, the plate that attaches to the shower wall with hot and cold written on it is some kind of finished tin and the valve that fits into your plumbing is metal. The rest plastic. The shower head is this big, square, hollow piece of plastic. The pressure control lever - plastic. So disappointing. I chose the venetian bronze finish so I'm not sure if the chrome finishes will actually be all metal. This irritates me as no description I have read anywhere online says 1/2 of the trim kit is plastic. I have used Delta in 3 bathrooms in my house and this is the first time I have gotten such inferior quality. This is a pretty expensive price to pay for plastic. Unfortunately I will probably keep it because of the valve that was plumbed into our shower locks me into Delta and the other shower trim kits by Delta that I was interested in are plastic as well. Overall, pretty disappointed with this fixture.

Hi. Is the model T17251 Dryden 1-Handle Rain Can Shower head, a WaterSense model?

I have a new Dryden tub/shower faucet and the water does not get hot. The temp lever does not go all the way to the end of the red but does adjust all the way to the end of the blue side. Is that the problem?

Hi, Wendy! Thank you for your question. There is a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted so that the faucets more hot water to come out. To adjust, please remove the temperature cover and take a phillips head screw driver and turn the set screw counter clockwise to remove. Please remove the gray knob. Behind the knob, you should see a black disk. Please take this disk and take it out and place the disk to the hotter side. The hot side should be up against the iron piece that is sticking down on the volume handle. If you need some assistance, please call us at 1-800-345-3358 for further instructions. I hope this helps. Will this perform well at 45 psi. I'm on a well and average that pressure

Thank you for your question. When using Delta Faucet model # T17251 on a well with 45 psi, you should see no difference in the GPM from the showerhead. There will still be 2.5 gpm. You might lose a gallon from the tub spout. There will probably be around 5 gpm from the tub spout.

new trim kits for an existing valve

I have an multi-function single handle shower valve that I am wanting to upgrade the trim kit on. The brass valve body is stamped with a 1016P. I like the style of the Dryden but it looks like these kits come with a cartridge that I dont need. Is that correct? Can I purchase just the trim and shower head without the guts of the valve body?

Hi Brett, Thank you for your question. The Dryden model T17251 will work with your existing rough in valve. Depending on the age of your existing faucet the cartridge that ships with the new trim may or may not fit your existing valve. If your faucet is newer than February 2006 the cartridge would fit, if it is older than that date the cartridge will not fit. We do not offer the faucet trims without the cartridges. You could piece together the trim separately but it would be more expensive than the full trim with the cartridge. Thanks, Dave

Does this come with a rubber gasket that goes between shower arm and shower head?

My shower head continually drips water from the bottom even when the water is turned off. What could be the issue?

Hi, cleveland714! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta shower unit. You may have some debris trapped in the valve body or cartridge assembly that is blocking the water flow.You may need to clean out the cartridge assembly and flush out the valve body. First turn off the water supply to the faucet. Remove the handle assembly, unscrew the bonnet ring and remove the cartridge assembly and all seals. Rinse and clean the cartridge out thoroughly. Turn both the hot and cold water back on for 10 to 15 seconds to flush out the valve body. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall all of the components. Make sure that there is no debris on the cartridge assembly and seals. If this does not resolve your issue, we do recommend to replace the seal kit adapter, RP46073. Multi port diverter option

Hi, I want to to control water to the tub faucet, the shower head or a hand held sprayer. Is there a diverter valve option for this product to enable 3 separate output capabilities.

Does this have a different cartridge than other 17 Series?

I was using your website's compare feature to look at the Lahara and Dryden trims. For the valve and cartridge information, the Dryden says NA, whereas the Lahara says Dual-function pressure balance cartridge. Does the Dryden not have the same dual-function pressure balance cartridge, too?
