LEAKS EVERYWHERE
The shower head leaks everywhere on top. Check out the reviews on HomeDepot for this model. We’ve purchased all Delta products for our entire house remodel but this shower head is a total failure. Poor quality from a reputable company. Can a representative help me out?

Beautiful Shower Fixture
Installation went very smoothly, we also installed a shower wand with this fixture in our shower and used a 3 way diverter. Living in CA, we also had to purchase the 2 way valve limiter, but install was very straightforward.

is there a recommended hand-held shower, diverter, and shower bar that can go with this? Is it possible to get an extension for the shower head so that it is 20 inches from the wall?
Thank you for your question, Jeff! The matching slide bar hand shower in the Vero collection is model 57530. The 3-Setting Dvierter Trim is model T11853, which requires the R11000 Rough-In Valve. We also have a 13"-22" extendable shower arm that can be used with the rain can shower head, model U6930.

On other websites (i.e. amazon), it mentions a flow rate of 2.5 gpm. 2.5 GPM. The specs on here say 1.75 gpm. Can you please confirm?

The non-WaterSense labeled version does provide 2.50 gpm @ 80 psi. This flow rate may not be updated on every site and we will work to get this information corrected as soon as possible.

Here are the instructions for cleaning from our website:
Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
· Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
· Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
· Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.

I purchased this unit and the universal valve assembly. Does this come with the cartridge? Or do I need to get that separate?

I just recently purchased and installed a Vero Monitor 17 model T17253-RB. When I rotate the volume control lever from off it takes over halfway around before any water comes out of the shower head. Is this normal or is something installed incorrectly?

The included showerhead is designed to limit the maximum flow rate to 1.75 gallons per minute.
To troubleshoot an issue, I recommend removing the showerhead and running the shower in the full mixed position for two minutes to flush the faucet. Check for debris and clean the connection before reinstalling the showerhead. See here for more information:

I'm unable to remove the escutcheon on a model T-17053. The set screw is removed. When I rotate it to unlock it from the tabs it will not pop off. A pry bar might crack the the tile and break the tabs. Any ideas?

Rotate the escutcheon counterclockwise to remove it from the bracket. If it is not able to rotate, soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water can help remove mineral deposits that may be holding it in place. If the tabs become damaged a replacement escutcheon and bracket are available as RP62958 and RP51035.

Can the t17453 be installed only for the shower without the tub faucet?

The model T17453 trim kit can be installed without the tub spout or the similar model T17253 does not include the tub spout.
The MultiChoice R10000 series valve rough is sold separately. Either use a shower-only R10000 valve model or plug the tub outlet of the valve rough if not using a tub spout.

What does the -WE designation mean on the model number. I have 2 faucets: T17253-SS and T17253-SS-WE. I can’t tell the difference.

I have the Vero Monitor 17 Series Shower Trim (installed late 2016) but not sure which model shower head I have. How can I determine if I have the RP62955 (2.5gpm) or the RP91363 (1.75 gpm)? Asking b/c I'm interested in a higher GPM shower head.

The water efficient models (WE) of this collection were introduced in 2017, so it is likely a 2.5 GPM shower head. Or, the gallons per minute can be measured directly. GPM is 60 divided by the number of seconds to fill a gallon.
