With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Designed to look like new for life, Brilliance® finishes are developed using a proprietary process that creates a durable, long-lasting finish that is guaranteed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Even worse, it will spray the ceiling under certain pressure situations. Naturally I will try to get a replacement from Delta, even though I'm not sure I want it. On a positive note, it does get me wet.. .

The main lever that controls hot and cold is metal but the exterior knob that controls the volume is plastic. This unit also has a sticker that is red and blue to indicate hot and cold, this sticker can be easily peeled off to expose a chrome finish beneath that doesn’t match the brushed nickel purchased.

I just completed remodeled my master bath and chose this Delta shower system - including the hand head that goes with it. I love the square look which goes perfectly with my design. I love that the shower head is solid brass and. It plastic. I looked for several months and couldn’t be happier with my choice!

I want to Attach the Vero shower head to the ceiling. Is there a straight arm I can use for this purpose?

Do I need to have the Delta Valve or can it be used with other valve? The Valve I have home is the is from Wolverine Brass and I was hopping to just be able to replace the cartidge with the Delta.

Is it possible to extend the shower arm a few inches?

Hi TC, Thank you for your question. The 16" long RP46870CZ shower arm that ships with the T17253-CZ shower trim is the longest shower arm we offer. Unfortunately we do not have any type of an extension for this model. Thanks, Dave

I'm wondering if I have everything I need to complete the installation. I need shower/tub spout/handshower setup. Do you need to purchase a universal Shower Valve Body separtely with the T17253 ??

Is there a Shower only valve that is recommended (no tub).

Contractor installed the shower faucet but it is not flush to the tile are there more detailed installation instructions

Step 1 covers the depth at which the valve should be plumbed to insure that the trim mounts properly. I bought 4 of these for new homes in California. They require max 2.0 GPM flow rate. Please let me know the spec and if we can use pressure reducer to meet the spec.

Thank you for your question, Hamid! Model T17253 has a shower head with a 2.5 gpm flow rate @ 80 PSI. Because the shower head is not WaterSense labeled, it can not be sold in, or shipped to the state of California. However, Model T17253-WE has the exact same design, and includes a shower head that is WaterSense labeled.
