With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean^® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta^® pressure-balance valves use Monitor^® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. An ornate blend of deep, warm tones and subtle highlights give Venetian Bronze^® a hand-brushed look that can transform a bath. Offering a smooth contrast to light tones and coordinating well with darker ones, this finish can have a beautiful soothing effect on almost any space.

How do you increase the water temperature

I have the nob turned as far as it can go but the water is still luke warm. How can I increase the temperature?

How do you clean the head

Hi Jeweld, Thank you for your inquiry! We recommend to soak the whole shower head of the Delta Vero Shower T17253-RB model, in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean off any debris that maybe causing the blockage. what body sprays go with this?

Would like 2 body sprays to go with this. What is the model number in the same color? Also, would like to know how many inches the raincan is.

Thank you for your question. Delta part #50150-RB is the recommended body sprays for our Vero Monitor 17 Series Shower Trim. The dimensions for the raincan showerhead (Delta part #RP62955RB) is 8 21/32" x 5 45/64".

How would the VENETIAN BRONZE finish hold up for an outdoor shower?

Hi, Markymark! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, none of our Delta shower faucets are specifically designed to be installed outdoors. They are not designed to withstand extreme cold weather conditions (freezing) or direct sunlight from the sun in the summer months. If you do decide to install one of our faucets outdoors, then please remember that our warranty only covers manufactures defects. Do you need to purchase a universal Shower Valve Body separtely with the T17253 ??

Is there a Shower only valve that is recommended (no tub).

I bought 4 of these for new homes in California. They require max 2.0 GPM flow rate. Please let me know the spec and if we can use pressure reducer to meet the spec.

Thank you for your question, Hamid! Model T17253 has a shower head with a 2.5 gpm flow rate @ 80 PSI. Because the shower head is not WaterSense labeled, it can not be sold in, or shipped to the state of California. However, Model T17253-WE has the exact same design, and includes a shower head that is WaterSense labeled.
