Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Have there been issues with the length of the shower arm being too long? My contractor is concerned that with that length, when moving and/or cleaning the shower head the torque could potentially be an issue and break the shower arm or mount.

What's the material different between T17253-SS and T17253-SS-WE? I read lots of website specs saying T17253-SS is zinc and T17253-SS-WE is brass, however I can not find any info on Delta website. Please clarify

The difference between this model and the T17253-SS-WE is the showerhead included in the kit. Both showerheads are non-metallic. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. T17253-SS includes the showerhead RP62955SS and has a maximum flow rate of 2.5 GPM. I want to install Rain shower ( T17253-SS ) with Hand Held Shower ( 55530-SS). Can you please provide me list of ALL other Parts I would need ?

A diverter valve T11853-SS installed in a diverter rough R11000 and also a wall elbow 50570-SS to connect to the hand shower. Are you able to replace the the aeroator/flow reducer to achieve higher pressure out the head? Or just replace with a new one if hard water has damaged the original.

We do not recommend removing or modifying the flow restrictor as this will void the warranty and may cause it to no longer comply with state or federal plumbing codes. To troubleshoot this issue, please check the flow rate with the showerhead removed from the shower arm to determine if there is an issue with the valve or the showerhead. Recommended maintenance for the showerhead is to soak in a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water to dissolve mineral deposits or common water debris that can cause a reduced flow. The flow regulator is an internal part of the showerhead. I have purchased trim kit T17253 and valve R10000-UNBX, I also purchased slide bar hand shower 51599-DS, is there anything else I need to complete the set to have both shower head and hand shower?

I asked plumber if the rough in valve he has already installed is compatible with the Vero Monitor 17 series. I stated that it needs to be a "Multichoice Universal Valve". The plumber replied that the rough i valve is a 10,000 series. Will it work?

Do you sell a replacement of the rubber piece inside the shower head that makes up the sprayer holes? Some of the sprayer holes got damaged on my shower head and now don’t spray as they should.

What type of Diverter Valve does this use

We have had this kit for 3+ years, about a year ago the flow of water stops every time the temperature is on hot. The hot water comes through the water pipe but will not regulate. Do you know what replacement part is needed and how to repair? Thank you

Hello Marianne, Thank you for your question! We are happy to help. The T17253 trim kit uses the pressure balance cartridge RP46463. The cartridge can be easily replaced by first turning the water off to the unit, room, or home. Next, you will need to remove the handle' set screw, bonnet nut, and sleeve assembly. The cartridge can then be pulled straight out. The adapter assembly may have a screw holding it into the valve body. The new adapter assembly will not need this screw. We bought Delta Vero Stainless 1-Handle Shower Faucet Model #T17253-SS Sept 2021 and noticed the shower head leaks where is screws to the shower arm. How can we prevent this from leaking? We love it otherwise. We put Teflon tape as well. Help please.

This comes with a series 17 valve assembly and this manages the water temperature. Is there a valve the allows the user to use the full range of the hot and cold water?

How do I stop my vero rain shower head from dripping

How do you remove the plastic temperature control mixing valve cover from the valve body without breaking it?

To remove the temperature cap on your T17253 by placing your fingers on the 'pointer' of the temperature cap and peeling upward.
