PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray
  • Full body spray provides a steady, full-coverage spray perfect for every shower need, from rinsing shampoo from hair to relaxing tired muscles
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice Universal Valve separately to complete the unit

Rated 3 out of 5 by from valve Everything works great! My only issue was that they had the wrong valve cartridge. I had to go to a supply house and get a 1700 cartridge for the valve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pressure not as expected Water pressure in shower head isn’t greatest. Hand held pressure is good, but for price wish shower head had more pressure and wish hand held had a jet option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Delta high end shower spray combo Very nice chrome fixture spray, used it for the 1st time. I like the spray and the turn knobs. However chrome is hard to take care of water spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shower Head We have had for about 2 months, beautiful, heavy duty - this is not plastic as many are these days. Rain head is congruent with a ceiling head. 10/10.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks from the upper seams Installed less than 2 years ago. Water coming over the top edges from th seam. Even worse, it will spray the ceiling under certain pressure situations. Naturally I will try to get a replacement from Delta, even though I'm not sure I want it. On a positive note, it does get me wet.. .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Incorrect description In the description it states the lever is metal. The main lever that controls hot and cold is metal but the exterior knob that controls the volume is plastic. This unit also has a sticker that is red and blue to indicate hot and cold, this sticker can be easily peeled off to expose a chrome finish beneath that doesn’t match the brushed nickel purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely love this shower head! Wish it had more pressure - I live in the country and have well water so I’d like to remove the water restrictor! I just completed remodeled my master bath and chose this Delta shower system - including the hand head that goes with it. I love the square look which goes perfectly with my design. I love that the shower head is solid brass and. It plastic. I looked for several months and couldn’t be happier with my choice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta T17253 rain head system Love the rain head and the separate controls to use the rain head and hand held shower. I wish the hand held shower had 2 or more functions besides just a spray. That is why it received a 4 rating. I would have given it a 5. Love it.

Does this item come with valve? Can you get a longer rod for shower head?

Asked by: Dan Rodgers
Thank you for your question! Model T17253 does not come included, with the valve body. The model number of the valve body is R10000-UNBX. I have included a link to the valve body's web page, for you to refer to. The RP46870 shower arm, which would be included with this trim is 16 inches long, and that is the longest shower arm that we make. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best Regards, Benjamin

I have a T17253-SS-H20. What valve do I need for shower only using PEX tubing?

I have a T17253-SS-H20 Vero Shower. What valve do I need for shower only using PEX tubing? Thanks, Barbara
Asked by: Barb
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17253-SS-H2O is recommended to be paired with our multi-choice valve, R10000-UNBXHF. This is our universal valve that will work with any application and get the highest flow of water.

trim installation on the 17 series T 17253 page 12 in manual picture c-2

How do you get the part #4 (control cover) of after installation without breaking the piece. It snapped on easy enough but how do you get it of? I am unable to turn the temperature controll piece more than 10 degrees which does not allow me to adjust any temperature. Any guidance???
Asked by: Andy
Thank you for your question. To remove the temperature knob cover, we recommend squeezing the sides together slightly with one hand. Then with the other hand, grasp the knob sticking out and pop it off the faucet.

I'm trying to decide between a Vero T17253-SS and T17253-SSH2O shower head. I want the one with the most pressure from the jets.

Even though the H2O version uses less water, will it provide as much pressure to wrince hair during showering, or would the rain can version be better? Thanks.
Asked by: Martin
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model T17253-SS will have an output of 2.5 gpm and T17253-SSH2O will have an output of 2.0 gpm but it feels like 2.5 gpm. It is really a personal preference as to the style that you prefer. One version is not better than the other.

How far down from the arm does the shower head extend towards the floor?

It looks like about 3" between the curve in the arm to the bottom of the shower head ? I am trying to determine the height I want the shower arm placed on the wall.
Asked by: CyndyD
Hi CyndyD, Thank you for your question. The drop on the shower arm in the model T17253-SS is approximately 2" from the center of the horizontal tube to the bottom of the threads. Thanks, Dave
