With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! I wanted brass fixtures in my bathroom and searched for a long time to find exactly what I wanted. This Champagne Bronze rain head by Delta is absolutely gorgeous. I love showering under it. I also bought the separate hand held shower and the set is just amazing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite While we love the functionality of the our Vero-1701 shower system, the rain shower head just doesn't deliver. It may be a function of our water pressure regulator we decided to install because of excessive pressure from the city, but I now believe it is more the size of the rain shower head. It's designed and was installed like a normal shower head but attempts to be shower can...not quite. There just isn't enough surface area to make it a good rain shower head. I've had a true rain shower from the ceiling that was about 1 1/2 times the size of the Vero...it worked. This does not...our next attempt will be the Delta - Delta 52664 1.75 GPM 5-13/16" Wide Multi Function Shower Head with H2O kinetic and Touch-Clean® Technologies. Let's see what happens there...

The rainfall shower head leaked right away, Delta replaced it with no question but the new one leaked just as bad. Tried filling it full of caulk etc. but nothing worked. It's not the screws! It's the untested design. Just said forget it and never used it. It's been installed for 2 years. It's too bad, we're redoing our master now and have to look at something else.

The shower head is already leaking out of the seams on the top. It looks great but cheaply made. Buy something else. I am already looking for a replacement shower head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous finish and clean lines [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have done 4 complete bathroom redo's in 2 years. I had purchased this same Delta faucet in chrome for an en suite bath and loved it so much that I knew I would get the same one when we did another bath. The bronze finish is just beautiful. It is so easy to use the faucet and you always know what the temperature is going to be when you "set" the faucet. My only issue is the rain spray which sometimes , if it gets knocked starts to drip when it is on at the sides. I have been able to fix it by just straightening it and making sure it is tight. I have had this issue with both rain heads. Also- you need to keep the head clean- important if you have hard water which we do. A quick swipe over the nozzles does the trick. Overall I love the faucet and know that it will give me many years of use.

The shower head provides the luxurious gentle rain water shower we were hoping for. The faucet allows you to leave the same hot water setting on the small handle, and you just turn the big handle for on & off. The only thing is that it seems to be backward from the normal right/left logic. I assumed we installed it backward but I notice in the photo that it looks like ours does when it's in the full off position with big handle to the right. Look carefully when you install. Overall though we are very happy with this product.

The design is beautiful, shower head size is a nice blend of traditional and rain head. The only problem I have is the head leaks. I have purchased multiple of these units for other houses we have built for clients and have had similar problems. I love delta products though and have complete success with the bathtub faucet in this collection as well as many of the kitchen faucets Delta carries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Real Step Up This shower package is wonderful. It's solid, great looking and works really well. The large shower head gives you plenty of water to rinse off easily and the double handle lets you set the temperature you want. The small handle adjusts the temp. so all you need too do the next shower is turn the water on with the large handle and it will be at your desired temp. The head just takes a swipe of your finger across the water "holes" and they're clean of lime scale and other residue. I love it!

Shower head started leaking out of the seams after 3 months. Delta replaced the shower head in March and the replacement head is doing the same thing after 3 months. In the midst of working with Delta to get another replacement. There are definitely quality control issues.

Does this item come with valve? Can you get a longer rod for shower head?

Thank you for your question! Model T17253 does not come included, with the valve body. The model number of the valve body is R10000-UNBX. I have included a link to the valve body's web page, for you to refer to. Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17253-SS-H2O is recommended to be paired with our multi-choice valve, R10000-UNBXHF. This is our universal valve that will work with any application and get the highest flow of water.

I want to confirm the part numbers that I am going to buy for this shower system(stainless). Since the price is not cheap, I want to make the list looks correct to you. T17253-SS, R10000-UNBX, 57530-SS, T11853-SS, R11000, and 50570-SS. Are they correct

trim installation on the 17 series T 17253 page 12 in manual picture c-2

How do you get the part #4 (control cover) of after installation without breaking the piece. It snapped on easy enough but how do you get it of? I am unable to turn the temperature controll piece more than 10 degrees which does not allow me to adjust any temperature. Any guidance???

Thank you for your question. To remove the temperature knob cover, we recommend squeezing the sides together slightly with one hand. Then with the other hand, grasp the knob sticking out and pop it off the faucet.

I'm trying to decide between a Vero T17253-SS and T17253-SSH2O shower head. I want the one with the most pressure from the jets.

Even though the H2O version uses less water, will it provide as much pressure to wrince hair during showering, or would the rain can version be better? Thanks.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model T17253-SS will have an output of 2.5 gpm and T17253-SSH2O will have an output of 2.0 gpm but it feels like 2.5 gpm. It is really a personal preference as to the style that you prefer. One version is not better than the other.

How far down from the arm does the shower head extend towards the floor?

It looks like about 3" between the curve in the arm to the bottom of the shower head ? I am trying to determine the height I want the shower arm placed on the wall.
