PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia.

Delta fits the bill for an affordable price. The wall arm, shower head, and valve controls went in without a problem. Again yet another great product from Delta.

The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the main on/off valve continues to turn, it does not stop at the on/off spot. It also doesn’t align with the on/off markings on the square plate. I had a very experienced contractor install this unit and he had a very difficult time doing so.

It not only took me 20 mins to install but it looks great! It made my master shower look nicer. The water comes out in a wide coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking great This shower head is so amazingly pretty I don’t think it would work as well for the shower head with the tub, just because it is really big, but in the shower, where there is no chance of water splashing on the floor, it is amazing. It feels like a rain shower, very soothing. I am not sure how hard it is to install it, because my hubby did it, but it was not a quick install. I wouldn’t be able to do it myself. But I am glad I have it in my shower. Very pretty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! This Delta shower trim kit was exactly the finishing touch our bathroom remodel needed. We now have that “spa like” bathroom I always heard people say they wanted! The steel finish looks great with our other hardware and the install went fairly smoothly. The shower head itself I was a bit apprehensive about, because I was unsure about giving up my trusty sprayer handle with all the settings. I’m glad I did. This trim kit is perfect. When we start working on our pool room, I’d like to install a shower out there to rinse off the pool water & this would be perfect there too.

We have been using the standard shower head the builder installed (Cheap) and it did the job, but it was not very comfortable. I removed the shower head and neck and replaced with this one from Delta. The flow is amazing. It feels so much better and softer on the body. It has a larger coverage area too. It is like standing under a warm rain in the summer. The flow of water is plenty for rinsing hair and my body. Overall, this product is very well built and not too difficult to install.

It was rather simple to do. The water pressure is great as well. It really does feel like a rain fall shower head. The design of this shower head made my bathroom look more sleek and fancier. I'm wondering if I have everything I need to complete the installation. I need shower/tub spout/handshower setup. Do you need to purchase a universal Shower Valve Body separtely with the T17253 ??

Is there a Shower only valve that is recommended (no tub).

Step 1 covers the depth at which the valve should be plumbed to insure that the trim mounts properly. I bought 4 of these for new homes in California. They require max 2.0 GPM flow rate. Please let me know the spec and if we can use pressure reducer to meet the spec.

Thank you for your question, Hamid! Model T17253 has a shower head with a 2.5 gpm flow rate @ 80 PSI. Because the shower head is not WaterSense labeled, it can not be sold in, or shipped to the state of California. However, Model T17253-WE has the exact same design, and includes a shower head that is WaterSense labeled. Suitable installation height from floor to shower head for T17253?

I would like to know what the normal height from floor to shower head is to install for T17253.

Does a valve come with this shower or do I need to purchase one separately? If so, would the Multichoice Universal Valve be acceptable?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17253 does not include the valve in the box. It does need to be purchased separately. We recommend the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve.

What diverters and valves do I need to add a handshower to this?

Thank you for your question. When adding a hand shower to your existing faucet, we would recommend using Delta Faucet model #R11000 diverter rough and Delta Faucet model #T11853 3-setting 2-port diverter trim.
