The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. Sleek design, lighter in feel than expected
The matte black finish and modern design are visually appealing, but in hand the components feel much lighter than expected, with a plastic construction rather than a heavier metal feel. I initially planned to have this installed, but later realized it is intended for a shower-only setup, which didn’t work for my bathroom configuration. While the look is clean and contemporary, this may be better suited for those prioritizing style and compatibility over a more substantial, premium weight fixture.

Polished and Sophisticated
Bathroom fixtures can make or break a bathroom. Delta has knocked it out of the park with the champagne bronze. It is much less gaudy than gold, but provides a polished and sophisticated look. This faucet is fantastic. The head is removable, which is great for rinsing out the bathtub/shower after cleaning or hosing off a child or pet. The settings allow the user to adjust the flow. The temperature control is easy to use and the install was quick and painless.

Easy to install on existing Delta valve
I already had Delta shower valves in both of the showers in my house, so installation was relatively easy. If I didn't, I would have had to have a plumber out to do it. I had to change out the cartridge in the middle for this handle system, but that was easy.
The instructions were mostly clear- I had to read them a couple times and it took a few adjustments to get the water temperature right.
The gold matches my tile and the Delta faucet on the sink perfectly.
The shower head has good pressure and has multiple spray settings. The handheld shower head can be shut off on the showerhead itself which is handy when giving the dog a bath.
Delta faucets are a little more expensive, but they are worth the extra money. They have a great warranty and excellent customer service.

Best shower head I have owned that provides a ton
I was fed to make sure I owned this a few months before reviewing to give my honest opinion of a real consistent experience with this shower trim so buckle up. The Delta Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series Shower Trim has been an excellent upgrade to my shower. The design is modern but still classic, and the overall build quality feels solid and well thought out. Installation was surprisingly easy. I am not a professional, yet I was able to complete the install in under an hour. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and despite the additional features, it really was not any more complicated than installing a standard shower head.
The main difference during installation was setting the pressure balance valve, which limits how hot the water can get. Once adjusted, it prevents the temperature from ever going beyond a level you are comfortable with, even if the handle is accidentally pushed further. While I do not have children, I can easily see how valuable this safety feature would be for families. For me, it has become a quality-of-life improvement. I leave the temperature set exactly where I like it and simply turn the shower on, knowing it will be perfect every time.
After using this shower trim daily for several months, it has proven to be both intuitive and reliable. The In2ition two-in-one shower head is one of my favorite features. I can use the main shower head, the detachable hand shower, or both at the same time. The hand shower is especially useful for rinsing off, cleaning the shower, or even washing pets. I also like using it to target my face when washing up in the morning or before bed.
The variety of spray settings is another strong point. You can choose anything from a gentle rain-style spray to a more powerful massage setting. It is great being able to let the main shower head provide full coverage while using the hand shower to target specific areas at the same time. The dual controls are well designed, allowing water flow to be adjusted independently from temperature. Once the temperature is set, it stays consistent, even when changing the water pressure.
Despite using at least 20 percent less water, performance has not been compromised at all. In fact, the water pressure feels stronger than any previous shower head I have used in this same bathroom, without making any changes to my plumbing. After months of use, there has been no drop in performance, no staining, and no noticeable wear.
Maintenance is also very easy. The touch-clean spray holes make it simple to remove calcium or lime buildup by just running a finger over the rubber nozzles. This is an underrated feature that makes quick, frequent cleaning effortless.
Beyond functionality, this shower trim is simply beautiful. I chose the champagne bronze finish, and it looks fantastic. I am currently remodeling my bathroom, and the finish complements a wide range of colors and materials. It feels more like a statement piece than just another fixture you install and forget about.
I honestly do not have any real complaints. If I had to be extremely picky, the only minor downside is that occasionally it takes an extra second to seat the hand shower back into the main head correctly. It needs to be angled just right, and sometimes I do not get it on the first try. This is a very minor issue and hardly worth mentioning.
Overall, this is a standout shower trim that combines great design, thoughtful features, and excellent performance. It delivers a highly customizable and consistently enjoyable shower experience every day. I wouldn’t mind having this in all my showers. After using it for such a while, I am certain that this thing is durable and will last me many years without a loss in performance.

A bit on the flimsy side
The Delta Ashlyn Monitor In2ition shower checks most of the boxes. While the fit and finish are neat and trim, it does feel a bit flimsy for what you’d expect from the Delta brand. It was easy to assemble and mount for a novice. It is a handy design and easy to use, as well as easy to clean. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the flimsy feel of the trim and the shower head. The rest of the parts feel substantial and sturdy.

Durable Hose Shower Head
Delta Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series Shower head and is a great choice for your bathroom remodel. It's an easy install which makes it a great quick update item to add a modern look. I chose the black as it goes with my farmhouse vibes in my bathroom. My favorite part about this particular model is the material of the hose for the handheld piece. Snaps in easy and out. The hose itself is durable and high quality metal type material. It's not super heavy overall the head of the shower sprayer is plastic. It came with a universal rough multichoice as well for install. Seems to be a great pick, reliable, functional and sleek modern designed shower head with hand held extra! Love it!

More involved than expected
I was so excited about this shower head. Unfortunately I was not prepared to become a masonry contractor. The hole in the wall was not big enough to make adjustments without cutting into my tile. As far as the materials of the actual shower head, they seemed sturdy and durable but I wasn’t able to properly test this.
I would recommend more information about the appliances and the installation process in the future.

Easy to install and looks great
The design looks great - it fits with our remodel perfectly. The installation is straightforward and assembly was done quickly. I worry that more of the parts aren’t metal since plastic will wear faster and be prone to breakage. We have a different version of a Delta shower system that has all metal parts and it just seems more durable. Other than that that, the look and ease of use is similar to our other shower system so we’re pretty thrilled!

Needs more pressure but still nice!
I love the color and look of this shower head. The hose is flexible and makes use of the handheld so easy compared to others I have had in the past. The water pressure is a little low for my liking however we weren’t able to install the part that says water pressure on it due to the way our bath is set up. We will need a professional to come in and do this so the pressure may be due to that. There are several settings to change the type of flow, and the handle is lightweight. I’ve had no issues going between settings and I’ve had no issues with leaking so far. Easy to wipe clean as well. Pretty great shower head, can’t wait to see what it’s like with a little more pressure!

Great water pressure!
This shower system is so pretty and very functional. The water pressure is great. The installation was pretty straight forward. It is easy to keep clean amd looking good. The hand shower part has been very durable for us. Overall, its been a great experience. We did have to get used to placing the handheld part into the shower head. You have to push it in, but it stays, so I'm pretty happy with that. We had high expectations for this brand, and I have not been disappointed.

This set is stunning. The color is better than I thought it would be! It is heavy, so the qualities seems great. The champagne bronze is beautiful and will instantly elevate the look of your shower. We had another Delta shower faucet previously installed, so the upgrade was a pretty straightforward process. We just had to remove the old knob, bonnet ring, and cartridge and replace them with the new. If you previously had separate rotation knobs for water temperature and water on/off you may not even have to go that far. If you are moving over from another brand, make sure to order the Delta universal kit for your water lines. Installation took me a couple hours from start to finish and we were showering that very same day.
The 2-in-1 shower head is going to be awesome for rinsing the shower walls after scrubbing - so long days of splashing refilling cups of water to rinse the walls.
I will update my review after we’ve used the Delta Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series for a couple of months to give a fuller account of how it performs.

Does the Ashlyn have volume control-compare seems wrong
Hi, I am redoing my existing shower, and want to replace the valve too and increase shower height....Couple of questions:
a. Where as when I compare this model with the Linden model, it says Linden has volume control but this does not. That seems wrong. When I look at the Ashlyn valve, it seems to have both volume and temperature handles, just like Linden. Can you please confirm if your compare feature is incorrect?
b. Other than buying the multichoice universal valve, do I need to buy anything else?
c. I love high pressure spray from my shower. Will the UNBXHF multichoice valve help in increasing pressure (vs without HF)?
d. Also, is there a model that has h2okinetic, in2ition technology AND volume control (so that I can set the temperature, and only move the volume lever)? Any other model you recommend for high pressure spray performance and in2ition technology?

Thank you for your questions!
a) This model does have a volume control, as will all 17 series models.
b) No additional parts will be needed to use your shower, other than the R10000 rough-in valve.
c) The high-flow (HF) rough-in valve will provide more water flow from the valve outlet if you are adding additional components, such as a hand shower or body spray. However, the flow rate of the included shower head will not be increased beyond 2.5 gpm with an HF valve.
d) At this time we do not have a complete trim kit that includes an In2ition shower head with H2Okinetic technology. However, you could purchase one separately to use with a Valve-only trim (along with the RP6023 and RP6025 shower arm and flange).

The water isn't hot enough when we turn the water on full. Is there a way to get the adjust to get more hot water?

Thank you for your question. There is a rotational limit stop (RLS) at the temperature control to adjust the hot water limit. To adjust the RLS, first remove the temperature cover and take a phillips head screw driver and turn the set screw counter clockwise to remove.
Remove the gray knob. Behind the knob, you should see a black disk. Take the disk and take it out and place the disk to the hotter side. The hot side should be up against the iron piece that is sticking down on the volume handle. Once adjusted, reinstall all handle parts.

Can the showerhead be adjusted to different angles?

Is the showerhead on this model adjustable so that the angle of the water spray can be moved (straight down or angled to spray further from the shower wall) or is the showerhead in a fixed position that can't be moved?
The shower head can tilt. Because if the hose it would not be able to point directly down link a rain shower head.

My plumber installed the valve too deep and so with the escutcheon, the handle cannot reach the rotational limit stop (R32102) and the screws (R12630) are now too short. Do you have any kind of extender so the handle can reach as well as longer screws?

Can l an Ashlyn Monitor 17 Series T17264 be installed in a R10000-UNWSHF valve? i.e. High Flow Valve?
Thank you for your question, Nate! Yes, you can use the R10000-UNWSHF valve body, with the T17264-I valve trim. Because the bottom port is pre-plugged on the R10000-UNWSHF valve body, you will not be able to use a tub spout.

I HAVE THE TEMP CONTROL UP THE WHOLE WAY AND IT WASN'T HOT ENOUGH. i THEN TURNED MY WATER HEATER UP AND IT IS HOTTER, BUT NOT AS HOT AS WE LIKE IT. WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET THIS HOTTER? OTHER FAUCETS ARE HOT AND I WON'T TURN THE WATER HEATER UP ANY MORE.
