Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the price. This product is not worth the steep price. The whole thing is made of what feels like cheap plastic. It's probably some form of polycarbonate but it doesn't say that anywhere on the product page and for the price it's something I would have liked to have known before purchasing. It all feels and sounds very cheap. The two handles do not move independently. Anytime you move the pressure handle it brings the temperature handle with it and if you don't have it fully open that you can't reach the full range of temperatures. The two handles also sit too far apart from each other and the pressure handle is wobbly. Again for the price this shower trim is NOT worth it. Don't buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobbly Temperature Control Knob We have had this unit installed for approximately 10 months. The temperature control knob is extremely wobbly and feels cheap. For as expensive at this shower system costs, the fit and finish of this does not hold up. Tried to contact Delta for warranty support but had a hard time getting through as there were 23 other people on hold. Left a message for call back. Will update review as more info becomes available. Tried to upload YouTube video.

Can a thermostatic cartridge be ordered/used with this (Ashlyn) trim? Using the R10000-UNWSHF valve.

Hello FSinTN, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Our R10000-UNWSHF is a universal valve, Which mean any of our T13/14, T17 or 17T trim kit and cartridge can be used. If you want to update to the Thermostatic cartridge you will need to update the trim, due to the cartridge is larger and you would need the larger handles to go with it. I purchased the Ashlyn shower trim. Should there be some type of plug for the hole where the handle screw is? As is right now, when the handle is turned to ON the hole is facing straight up, and it looks like water would easily get inside the handle

Hello Chris, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available for our Delta Faucet Ashlyn® Monitor® 17 Series Shower Trim, model T17264; however, I am happy to assist you! If this unit is having a leaking issue, we first would recommend a flush, If the flush does not work we then would ask to replace the RP46073 Cartridge Adapter. Lastly, if that does not fix the issue, then we would recommend replacing the whole cartridge, RP46074. Please see the parts diagram link below, as well as the flushing instructions. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-B-T17064%20Rev%20B.pdf To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. You will also need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw under the temperature knob. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. I installed the T17264 (R10000 unvx rough-in) valve in a shower enclosure. It worked well for about 3 years, but now the water would only barely warm up. The same bathroom sink gives hot water. Broken O-ring, failed cartridge?
