Delta® H2Okinetic® Showers look different because they are different. Using advanced technology, H2Okinetic showers sculpt water into a unique wave pattern, giving you 3X the coverage of a standard shower head.* The end result is a shower that provides more coverage, more warmth and more intensity for a truly drenching shower experience. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the separate temp setting lever so all you have to do is turn on the water. The pressure on the head is low but no different than any other models. Wish it had an option to override the low pressure setting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awful at Heating Water This is not a true water saver! Have to leave the water running for while for it to warm up and it only reaches lukewarm temperature. In the picture the finish is close to "brush nickle" but it is actually closer to a chrome. Used it twice and water stays on the finish leaving water spots. We have a water softener and this is the first time we experience this issue. Then again, this is our first experience using Delta. Everything else in the house is Moen.

Can this be used with shower head and hand shower?

Hello, Delta folks. Does the trim kit shown with this set allow for independent control of the shower head (shown) and a separate hand shower? We'd want to either send the water to one sprayer or the other. Also, if necessary, please advise on the rough valve that we'd need for that. Thanks!

Hi Rob, Thank you for your question! This unit is not designed to divert water between two shower heads. The matching 3-Setting Diverter Trim is model number T11874. Can the flow restrictor be removed from this shower head to increase volume?

Hi, crewser! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T17274-SS shower head flow restrictor is built-in and non-removable. Removing or attempting to remove this may result in voiding any warranty the shower head may have. Best Regards, Rosanna

I am planning an installation of a Zura Monitor 17 H2O Kinetic (T17274) and a diverter to a Hand Shower w/hose and slide pole (57051) I think I need a R10000 Valve body for the Shower head and a R11000 for the diverter. Is this correct?? Rich

Hi, Rich3042! Thank you for your question. You are correct. You will need the R10000 rough valve will work with the Monitor T17274 trim kit. The R11000 Diverter rough is needed for the diverter trim kit so that you're able to divert water from the shower head to the hand shower. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can this valve be used when wanting a main shower head and a seperate handshower?

Hi Scott, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17274-CZ. A diverter and hand shower can be added to this shower trim. The maximum flow rate also depends on the home water pressure and the valve rough used, but it should be enough for two shower features at once. Please reach out with any additional questions!
