Rated 1 out of 5 by from The finish showed water spots from day 1 I don't hate the stream of water from this showerhead, but you should know that it is very simple- no other settings. Also know that the controller trim is partially plastic and not solid feeling. Something behind the trim is metal though, because it is rusting and dripping down onto my new white grout and tile (Delta is sending a replacement cartridge; plumber insists it is not a cartridge issue, but when the plumber tried to call to discuss it with Delta, Delta required that I be the one to call them- of course I don't know plumbing, I just own the shower). Even if we chalk the rusting up to a fixable fluke, the horrible water spotting on the shower head and controller can't be ignored. It's what I would expect from a $30 generic trim. Note that this shower is 3.5 months old, used for two showers per day, gets professionally cleaned weekly, and we have a water softener. Delta's answer to the water spots was to use water and vinegar for cleaning; that did nothing to improve or remove spots. I noticed water spotting the first day it was installed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst shower head EVER! The water barely dribbles out of this thing. We have a Delta Dryden shower head in our guest bath and it works just fine. Both of them were installed by the same plumber. I am beyond disappointed as we have been waiting to finish this bathroom remodel for a long time If this is what we can expect from Delta, we will be using Kohler from now on.

I can’t find a single good thing to say about this abomination of a shower experience. I gave it a couple tries but wow- awful. Horrible flow, spray can’t be focused - I couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. For the record-this is the first and only negative review I have ever given for anything, anywhere. Usually try to make the best of things, but no way I could with this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from spray pattern not adjustable Love the valve with separate controls for temperature and flow rate. The shower head is a little disappointing. The shower head is oversized for what it does. The main problem is there is only one spray pattern meaning there is no way to get a focused spray when you want one. Overall, I don't enjoy the shower but my husband does.

How do I adjust the hot water stop on a multichoice valve?

We just installed a Cassidy Multichoice 17 series shower head and valve.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17297-RB has a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted to allow the consumer to get more hot water coming through the valve. The factory sets the temperature at about 105 degress but it can be adjusted to 120 degrees depending on the water heater. Can I replace the front handle (only) of the Cassidy Multichoice 17 series shower trim with a Cassidy Metal Cross Handle Model # H795RB?

Hi Carolm, Thank you for your question. The H795RB handle cannot replace the temperature knob on your model T17297-RB. The H795RB is made to fit on the T13/T14 series tub/shower trims, not the T17. Thanks, Dave

Hello Delta. Can this be used with a 17T cartridge such as RP47201, or does it have to use a standard 17 series (non thermostatic) cartridge?

Although the TempAssure or &quot;Thermostatic&quot; cartridges will fit into the MultiChoice Universal Rough-In Valves, they are slightly longer and require a TempAssure 17T to accommodate the difference. R10000 UNBX valve

Is the R10000 UNBX the only valve that will work with this shower? We are building new construction and the builder has installed a non-delta valve. We're concerned that it will not work with the T17297 trim.
