I have use this series for eight projects each of my clients I thoroughly impressed with the operation of these units. Once I show this system and how it works through a demonstration of a previous installation via another clients Installation,. The response has been; “that’s what I want just like this one “ . This makes the shower effect very unsatisfactory. It's a miserly shower experience indeed. Pieces are well-made, cleans easily too. Water marks show up easily but just are just as easily cleaned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Showering I renovated my bathroom and wanted the Delta Vero line in it. The local plumbing store wanted an absurd amount for this shower setup. Got it on Build.com for less. The unit is elegant, not too modern, but not too classic..more minimalist than anything. Easy to install. This is considered an "architectural" line product, so its a tad better than consumer grade stuff you get from Home Depot. Has an excellent finish and feels of solid quality...not like the stuff you would pick up at Home Depot. It comes in two different cartage/plate, so you just have to make sure you pick the correct setup. Installation is easy. independent temperature and pressure controls are wonderful. Easy to clean and use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rain shower effect; shows water spots Good water pressure (could be more but generally thought it was good compared to many other rain shower effect showerheads I've tried) and disbursement with this showerhead. It extends quite far from the wall, which is great if you're building a shower for two (I also got the hand sprayer). Loved the sleek style. Only downside I have is that with the brushed nickel finish, you can see water spots after each shower on the hand shower wand and showerhead, which is annoying because it's not something you can prevent other than by literally wiping it all down after each and every shower.

Our contractor liked that it had a "dual diverter," which I think means you can control how much water comes out separately from the temperature of that water. The shower head is a close mimic of a above-head rain shower head for those spaces that don't allow that type of installation. Would buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from will not last...now leaking at seams Our contractor installed this kit in a new master bath. It looks wonderful and the the faucet functions very well. We've had it almost two years and last week the shower head started spewing water out the top around the straight edged seams. This is not a connection, it is part of the head itself. This is high up near the ceiling. No one can even reach it so it never gets handled. ...just broke. Bad design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dont buy this product difficult to clean I bought this a few month ago and with in the first week I was not able to get the water spots out of the finish. I used water and vinegar as delta recommends and when that did not work I used stainless cleaner on one of the items and still the water stains did not come out. Deltas response to mu complain was that they are not responsible for water stains. I have not had this problem with other brands and since delta will not stand behind their products I recommend you purchase other brands

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice design but... Purchased for contemporary master bathroom renovation. When contractor pulled items from the box, she noticed tub faucet was flimsy plastic. Seems Delta is producing these on the cheap with the excuse that plastic doesn't rust. Metal/brass do not have rust problems. Price should be half of what's listed for plastic. Love the design, hate the cheap material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Form and Function at its best! Exquisite lines and quality finish. The shower head and control are solid, weighty metal while the tub faucet feels to be a coated plastic. This is the reason why I gave a 4 out of 5 stars. I would have liked the option for 4.5 stars, and if I had to buy it over again, I wouldn't let that feature stop me. The Vero collection fits all design styles, from contemporary to traditional - any where you want clean, easy to maintain lines. It will not compete with other design elements. I HIGHLY recommend all products in the Delta Vero line.

It gives off a soothing, even distribution of water. The other parts are easy to use, and make a statement as well. Love it love it love it. (I'll be giving a not so kind review to the recent delta set which I bought for a second bathroom update).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have rain shower Amazing shower but I would recomend to use as long as an extension to get the head near the middle of the tub as possible, that way a woman can rinse and wash her hair sitting down in the tub without leaning back. (very nice for women with long hair. I used a 20 inch extension but would have liked to have a 24 inch and could not due to light fixture placement I added an additional hand held shower wand and an an additional valve to control all of it.

What is the area coverage of the shower head square?

Hi Cfarm, Thank you for your question. The shower head that comes with the Delta Vero Tub and Shower Trim T17453, is a full body spray patterned shower head that is 8 5/8" across and 5 11/16" in length. The spray pattern will be larger than just the size of the shower head itself depending on pressure and distance. Best regards, Tanya

tub spout installation

Need confirmation regarding copper pipe type installation of the Vero tub spout. With respect to the supplied adapter (o-ring on one end and double-sided thread other end), the o-ring end is always towards the tub spout? The schematic picture on the spout packaging seems to indicate this as the direction, but the adapter will only screw in so far. Which end is soldered onto the copper pipe?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17453 has a tub spout that can be either sweat onto a copper pipe or thread onto an iron pipe. What is the maximum length of shower head extension?

Would like to extend shower head from wall 20-24" inches. Will it be able to handle weight of shower head. Does Delta sell anything longer than 16" inches?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17453 has a shower arm that extends out for 15-9/32 inches. We do manufacture a shower arm that extends from 13"-22" and that model number is U6930.

For the tub and shower trim T17453, if I want to add a handheld shower such as 57530, will the following be all that I need? One of the R10000 multichoice rough valves, R11000 diverter rough, T11853 3-setting 2-port diverter trim, elbow for handshower?

Tub Spout has pull up handle

We are adding the hand held shower to this unit. I understand we need the T11853 diverter to make this work. Does this mean the pull up handle on the tub spout is no longer needed? If that's the case, can we get a spout that doesn't have handle? Another question: We also need a R10000UNBX. Just curious why this doesn't come with the T17453. Thanks!

Hi Sam, Thank you for your question! When you turn the water on, it will automatically go to the spout. You will need to have a diverter spout to send the water up to the 3-Setting Diverter, which will then route the water to the shower head, hand shower, or both. The rough-in valves are sold separately to allow you to choose which R10000 to get. We offer different versions depending on the application, such as what type of piping will be used, whether you prefer stops (WS), or need higher flow (HF). Height Installation recommendation

At what height do you recommend that the showerbar is installed? Also do you have recommendations on what the ideal height and configuraton for the rough-in control, diverter, handheld shower and two body jets as were are installing a complete shower package in this series.

Thank you for your questions. Unfortunately, we do not have a good recommendation for you. It is a personal preference where to install your components. It will depend on who is using the shower and how tall they are so they get the best shower experience.

Can this system also be combined with the hand-held 57530 Vero Full Slide Bar Shower Head? Would I need to purchase any other parts?
