Quality construction & easy to use
I was looking for a quality dual function package since I really like to be able to independently control the water temperature and the water volume. The materials all have a quality feel (although the cover plates in the brushed stainless finish seem a bit more sturdy) to them. Time will tell how they hold up over the years, but the simple to use and easy to clean design is both functional and asthetic.

Very low water pressure from tub spout
We do have well water so this may be the reason but the older delta system I replaced had normal, if not strong, water pressure from tub spout. Also, the diverter squeals when the shower is on. My research suggests there is a faulty part that causes the squeal on old tub spouts but this is a new one. All of my fixtures are delta and I’m having issues with only this set so it could be a lemon. It’s already installed in my new bathroom and I am trying to live with the pressure issue. Since my boys still bathe it’s been quite frustrating so hoping they’ll start showering soon. It was nice to have the option to use a different shower head though (speakman showerhead) and the set is nice looking in a modern farmhouse bathroom.

Had some problems
I really like the looks and working of the shower control. My plumber had some issues installing the Delta universal rough in valve. Evidently there was an extra piece in the roughin valve that should not have been there, a mistake from the factory. Once that piece was removed it installed easily. I was not so pleased
with the tub spout which is a chrome finished plastic, and feels wobbly and cheap, unlike the shower control, but it does work just fine. I think this is a discontinued item, hence the good price. I would recommend the shower control, but not the tub spout.

Arrived with wrong/missing parts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this trim. Bought one for shower only and one for tub/shower and looked forward to installing. Of course, on a bathroom remodel, plumbing trim comes at the end so they sat for awhile but when I finally went to install the similar tub trim, the "universal" adapter wasn't the correct one and this package was missing a valve seat spring. I was able to use the valve seat set from the other trim package to at least get the shower working, but had to contact Delta for replacement parts. They happily started the process to send me the replacements, but it's now a week later and I would still be waiting. Fortunately another retailer had the parts for sale with fast-cheap shipping (you can guess who) and I got the parts (that I had to pay for myself) and got the job finished before the contractors left the site.
I am still waiting on the parts from Delta.
In short, if you buy Delta, be prepared to pony up for missing parts if you are on any sort of schedule.

will this unit yield 2.5gpm when used with Delta® In2ition 2-in-One 4-Spray Hand Shower/Shower Head Model Number: 58467-SS ?

Thank you for your question. Yes, the Delta In2ition 4-Setting 58467-SS model has a flow rate of 2.5 GPM at 80 PSI and installing the Trinsic Tub and Shower T17459-SSLHD would not affect this.

It seems that the T17459-LHD (Monitor 17 Tub and Shower Trim Less Shower Head) doesn't come in RB (Venetian Bronze) -- what individual components would I need to order instead? (We'll be using the 58680-RB25 as the shower head.)

The T17459-LHD is a trim only ( less shower head). You will need to order a Universal rough in valve ( such as the R10000-UNBX) and your choice of shower head which is not included with the trim.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T17459-LHD Tub and Shower Faucet does work with the Delta 58680-25 HydroRain® H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Two-in-One Shower Head. This shower head will thread right onto the shower arm of the Monitor T17459-LHD Tub and Shower Faucet and nothing else is needed for this application.

I recently had a Delta T17459-SSHLD installed in my bath tub. My water temperature is 140 degrees. The hot water in all of my faucets tests to that temperature except this one, the hottest it will run is 103 degrees. How do I increase the temperature

I bought these set already but I would also like to add a handheld shower separate from the head shower. Can I still use these set and buy additional parts to have 3 separate share positions or what other set can I buy ? Thank you

This trim kit can be used with a diverter and hand shower. To use the diverter, you will need to use an R11000 valve and a T11859 diverter trim kit.
